Match 2: Darby Allin & Sting vs. The Outrunners
Result: Darby Allin & Sting beat The Outrunners. Squash.

Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida interview with Tony Schiavone. Pre-recorded and in black & white per Strom’s demand. Contract signed for Full Gear.

Result: Swerve Strickland beat Penta El Zero M. Afterwards, Adam Page came out and attacked Strickland with a chair, also using it on security as they intervened before sending Strickland off the stage and through a table with Deadeye.

Don Callis-Kenny Omega promo. They incorporated footage from the video game “Yakuza: Like A Dragon”, which elevated the typically high promo video quality even further.

Renee Paquette interviews Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega but The Young Bucks interrupt quickly. They eventually talk into a tag match at Full Gear-if Jericho & Omega win, The Bucks lose their guaranteed future AEW Tag Team Championship opportunity. If The Bucks win, Jericho & Omega must split up. Renee REALLY enjoyed this.

Match 4: ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe vs. Keith Lee for the title

Main Event: Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe for White’s AEW World Championship shot at Full Gear
Result: Jay White beat Mark Briscoe to keep his title shot. MJF cleaned house afterwards until White bailed. After this, masked assailants attacked The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn backstage as “The Devil” appeared again to close this clip. MJF ran to the back and found The Acclaimed & Gunn laid out (Anthony Bowens got thrown through a window here) as Samoa Joe walked in on cue, smirked and walked off to end the show.

Next week: Jon Moley & Wheeler Yuta vs. Orange Cassidy & Hook.

Friday on a LIVE Rampage from Oakland, CA: FTR vs. El Hijo Del Vikingo & Komander. Saturday’s Collision will be TAPED after the show. Spoilers to follow Saturday morning.

As the show wound down, Mariah May got the #AllElite graphic on social media. Those who don’t follow Stardom or the international scene closely probably haven’t heard of her. Understandable.

A better show than last week, everything was consistently at or above average with nothing bad or that you need to skip. Strickland-Penta and Joe-Lee were really good matches. Right between C+ & B- but no real complaints.

Late in the match, Swerve Strickland came out and taunted Page, luring him away from the match and into a backstage pull-apart brawl. Matt Jackson threw a major temper tantrum afterwards, taking a chair to the ring posts and more.

Adam Copeland interviewed. Christian Cage interrupts. A beatdown and save by Sting & Darby Allin lead to Copeland accepting the offer to team with Allin & Sting at Full Gear against Christian, Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne.

Result: Jay White, Juice Robinson & Gunn Club beat MJF, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn. White pinned MJF after Bladerunner. Garbage comedy match.

Just not a good show all around. The Tony Khan major announcement will of course spur more mockery and bad (good) jokes when the next one comes around. He won’t admit it but based on live crowd attendance, from what I see online, AEW is in a bad place right now as crowds are way down from a year or so ago.

Friday on Rampage: Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal vs. Gunn Club, Skye Blue vs. Marina Shafir, Trent Beretta vs. Daniel Garcia and El Hijo Del Vikingo vs. Penta El Zero M & Komander in a 3-way..

Jay White beat AR Fox. Afterwards, MJF tried to take back the AEW World Championship belt again but failed.

The Acclaimed promo. Apparently Max Caster got catfished.

Gunn Club beat The Boys.

Ryan Nemeth interviewed backstage. Looking for Hollywood representation so he goes to visit the hot, flexible wife in her dressing room. Only he gets, as a news site I frequent jokingly called him today in an article, the hairy, inflexible (HAHAHA!) husband. REDEEMED.

AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida beat Abadon to retain the title. Toni Storm promo afterwards. Barring Tony Khan giving Skye Blue yet another chance, Storm is next at Full Gear.

ROH World Champion Samoa Joe beat Rhett Titus to retain the title.

Claudio Castagnoli promo. He says Bryan Danielson has a broken orbital bone following Wednesday’s Dynamite. Rematch teased between Danielson & Kazuchika Okada, maybe even in New Japan. Castagnoli faces Orange Cassidy Wednesday for the AEW International Championship.

Ricky Starks beat Dax Harwood. House Of Black appeared post-match, and a big brawl broke out with Starks & Big Bill, FTR and LFI all getting into it.

Andrade El Idolo interviewed.

Claudio Castagnoli beat Tracy Williams. Squash.

Main Event time. They have about 30 minutes TV time.

AEW World Champion MJF beat Kenny Omega to retain the title. That means unless he is stripped of the title before Dynamite or vacated it before then, MJF will become the longest-reigning AEW World Champion to date.

End Show.

UPDATE: Danielson injury is legit and he will need surgery. Done for the year. As for an Okada match in New Japan, say at Tokyo Dome on 1/4, consider that prospect questionable right now. Knowing how Danielson came back from the broken wrist, I wouldn’t go any lower than questionable and would not rule it out

Wardlow promo.

Match 2: Hook & Rob Van Dam vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds
Result: Hook & Rob Van Dam beat John Silver & Alex Reynolds. Hook beat Silver with Redrum.

Toni Storm’s newest “film” plays during split-screen commercial, but it sounds like she has a title shot coming up at Full Gear on 11/18. What we don’t yet know is which title. And…is that…Luther as a butler? Haven’t seen him since the days of Streamerpentico before we knew for sure he was actually Jon Cruz the whole time!

Schiavone has his Stingasm and brings out Sting. Darby Allin is with him, right arm in a sling. Tony Khan’s gift to Sting is revealed and it’s…RIC FLAIR! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But Christian Cage interrupts and makes a challenge to Sting & Allin for a 6-man tag at Full Gear, their choice of partner. Accepted.

Renee interview with Chris Jericho from earlier today.

Match 3: ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks & Adam Page vs. The Hardys & Brother Zay for the titles
Result: ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks & Adam Page beat The Hardys & Brother Zay to retain the titles. Matt Jackson pinned Zay after BTE Trigger. Immediately afterwards, a video played of Swerve Strickland & Prince Nana inside Page’s house as Page ran to the back. It ended with Strickland leaving a Mogul Embassy shirt in his baby son’s crib.

Adam Copeleand interviewed. Allin & Sting try to recruit him as their partner because he has lost his Edge.

Match 4: AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida vs. Ruby Soho for the title
Result: AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida beat Ruby Soho to retain the title. Toni Storm came out post-match. She gets ANOTHER AEW Women’s Championship shot at Full Gear, and it could very well come against Shida.

MJF interviewed backstage. Samoa Joe interrupts to offer to be MJF’s bodyguard Saturday, which MJF accepts. Then the catch: Joe wants a rematch for the AEW World Championship.

Main Event: Orange Cassidy & Kazuchika Okada (New Japan) vs. Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli
Result: Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli beat Orange Cassidy & Kazuchika Okada. Castagnoli pinned Cassidy after a European Uppercut.

During the main event another new PPV, Worlds’ End, is announced for 12/30 in the New York City/Long Island, NY area (Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum).

Friday on Rampage: Santana vs. Ortiz, Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale, Anna Jay & Abadon in a 4-way and MJF & Kenny Omega speak.

Saturday on Collision: AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida vs. Friday’s 4-way winner for the title and AEW World Champion MJF vs. Kenny Omega for the title.

Next week: Cassidy-Castagnoli for the AEW International Championship.

This was a solid show that greatly overachieved, but Danielson was possibly injured in the main event and it looked like arm/wrist again and it completely ruined everything. It sucked the life out of the arena and commentary as Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Rocky Romero & Hook all came out but despite the tensions cooler heads prevailed as we cut away. But there are understandably a lot of concerns about Danielson, and if Okada injured again, and sadly it made all the good stuff tonight not matter at all because this is what will be most remembered and talked about. I’m still trying to process everything myself. We’ll have to wait for updates and hope for the best for Danielson.

End Show.

UPDATE: After the show ended, Tony Khan posted on Twitter that Danielson left the ring and walked off under his own power without further specifics, but that is hopefully a good sign.

Also added to Rampage post-show is Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke Takeshita.
