Pro Wrestling NOAH continued the SUNNY VOYAGE 2024 Tour today in Yokohama.

Today’s event was held at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama and can be watrched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 282.

Match 1: Hajime Ohara beat Daiki Odashima.

Match 2: Jack Morris & Daga beat Ulka Sasaki & Atsushi Kotoge. Daga pinned Kotoge after Diablo Wings.

Today’s event was held at Bandaijima Multipurpose Hall Large Okama in Niigata and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast. (UPDATE: Said later date will be 10/31 at 11 PM PT/2 AM ET on 11/1)

The announced paid attendance was 753.

Big news coming out of yesterday’s MONDAY MAGIC event: Pro Wresting NOAH has announced a new title-the GHC Women’s Championship. To be awarded at the next MONDAY MAGIC event on 11/11, a 10-woman staggered battle royal will determine the inaugural champion. Participants will not be announced prior to the match. I think Great Sakuya is a lock though.

Pro Wrestling NOAH ran Episode 2 of MONDAY MAGIC Season 3 today.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance has not been announced but it was very close to a legit sellout if it didn’t get there. Only a few same-day tickets were left.

Match 1: Great Sakuya & Halan beat Sadie Gibbs & Jesse Jackson. Sakuya pinned Jackson.

Match 2: Dragon Bane, Anthony Greene, Titus Alexander & Vinny Massaro beat Alpha Wolf, LJ Cleary, Starboy Charlie & JAC. Alexander pinned JAC after Big Ugly.

Match 3; HAYATA beat Shuhei Taniguchi. Borderline squash in just 82 seconds.

Match 4: In a Mascara Contra Caballera match, where the losing team immediately would face off in a Hair vs. Hair or Mask vs. Mask match, Junta Miyawaki & Yu Owada beat Alejandro & Cristobal. Owada pinned Cristobal. Which led to…
Match 5: In a Mascara Contra Mascarra (Mask vs. Mask Match), Alejandro beat Cristobal. As a result, Cristobal loses his mask. And was revealed to be…Black Menso-re! Although he quickly put that mask on as the lights went out so his real face was only visible for a split second.

The next event is Wednesday at Bandaijima Multipurpose Square Okama in Niigata for both Akitoshi Saito’s final Niigata match and the start of the N INNOVATION 2024 Tournament (a single-elimination 8-man tournament for the Junior Heavyweights). There will be no live broadcast. After this event they have a stretch where 10 of the next 11 events will be streamed live (in fact, the only 2 non-live events left in 2024 are this one, 11/9 and 12/8. That means live and immediate on demand for 11 of the next 14 events. Note the live broadcast for 11/17-Saito retirement-will probably be English only on WRESTLE UNIVERSE and thus edited due to ABEMA exclusives)

Pro Wrestling NOAH kicked off the 3rd installment of MONDAY MAGIC today with the first of 5 Monday events in the unpredictable series.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance has not yet been announced but if it wasn’t a legit advance sellout, it was very close. There were no same-day ticket sales at the venue and only a few electronic advance tickets were left. That would suggest, depending on the setup, anywhere between 350-475 (maximum capacity for the venue is 500).

The matches were not announced in advance.

Match 1: Alejandro & Cristobal vs. Junta Miyawaki & Yu Owada went to a 10 minute time limit draw.

Match 2; AMAKUSA beat LJ Cleary.

Match 3; Daga beat Hikaru Sato (All-Japan).

Match 4: Eita, Ulka Sasaki, Huji de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Dragon Bane beat HAYATA, Tadasuke, Anthony Greene & Vinny Massaro. Sasaki beat Tadasuke with Shining Triangle.

Match 5: Kaito Kiyomiya beat Titus Alexander by submission.

Main Event: Kenoh & Yuji Nagata (New Japan) beat Manabu Soya & Masa Kitamiya. Kenoh pinned Kitamiya after Kenoh Special.

The next event is Sunday at Sendai Pit in Sendai for Akitoshi Saito’s final match in Sendai. There will be no live broadcast.

When Pro Wrestling NOAH announced the card for the next LIMIT BREAK event on 11/24 a short time ago, there was an injury note too-although it won’t happen for at least a couple weeks, Hajime Ohara will miss that 11/24 event due to surgery. Deviated septum, it appears (nose). At this time it’ll probably be after the 11/6 Korakuen Hall event that wraps up the upcoming N INNOVATION Tournament, and Ohara is currently on the 11/2 event before that, so probably surgery in mid-November then out indefinitely.

The second event of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s doubleheader today was a LIMIT BREAK event.

Today’s event was held at Club eX at Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 344. That was a bit higher than the ALL REBELLION Produced event a few hours earlier.

Match 1: Kai Fujimura beat Daiki Odashima by submission.

Match 2: The Reeve Mask & Yuki Iino (DDT) beat Black Menso-re (Independent/Freelancer) & Tomomitsu Matsunaga (DDT). Mask pinned Menso-re.

Match 3: Tetsuya Endo & Yukio Naya (DDT) beat Mohammed Yone & Kohei Kinoshita. Endo pinned Kinoshita after Burning Star Press.

Match 4: Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Shuji Ishikawa went to a 20 minute time limit draw.

Pro Wrestling NOAH has a doubleheader on tap in Tokyo today, originally scheduled to continue the never-ending SUNNY VOYAGE 2024 tour in the first event but it now will be an ALL REBELLION Produced event, featuring the faction led by eternal rivals-turned-factionmates-for-now Kaito Kiyomiya & Kenoh. There’s not much to say about what to expect right now because the match card won’t be announced until right before the event, or maybe not until it begins.

Today’s event(s) will be held at Club eX in Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There likely will be no commentary. (The second event today is a LIMIT BREAK ex) With no way to predict the running time based on the card, it may depend largely on the fact the second event is to start only about 3 1/2 hours after this one, so it really can’t go more than 2 1/2 hours. I’d guess it’ll be around 2 hours. Also, live results for this event are dependent on the ability to simulcast WRESTLE UNIVERSE on multiple devices/browser windows because a DDT live event will happen at the same time.

At the start the lights go out briefly and when they come back ALL REBELLION is in the ring to greet the crowd. This includes the injured Taishi Ozawa, who is on crutches so his “out indefinitely” is going to be several weeks at least.
