Injury Report: This Is A Very Sad Evil Clown

Stardom fans who are longtime joshi fans may know that the not happy and rather evil clown Fukigen is actually 3-decade-plus veteran Kaori Yoneyama when she appears in the promotion (she is her real self elsewhere and in her own YMZ promotion). She is a very unhappy clown now due to a serious injury per the Stardom English Twitter account. Torn ACL. Out about a year and potentially career-threatening. A decision about her future will be made at a later date.

This means a card change for Saturday (which is a live PPV on Stardom World, it should be available on or after next Wednesday for all monthly subscribers): She was to have teamed with Natsuko Tora, Thekla & Rina to face Yuna Mizumori, Sayaka Kurara, Aya Sakura & Waka Tsukiyama. Azusa Inaba (from TAKA Michinoku’s Just Tap Out promotion) is the replacement.

More as it becomes available.

Nakano pinned Gina after Violet Screwdriver. Naturally the new H.A.T.E. faction crashed the post-event celebration for a beatfdown, suggesting Tora, Watanabe & Thekla want the next shot. Tora also cut some of Nakano’s hair off.

All tournament events will stream live, the first and final dates will be PPVs and the rest will be available on Stardom World for all monthly subscribers.
