Tokyo Joshi Pro has provided a recap of Miyu Yamashita & Hyper Misao visiting England yesterday for a doubleheader in Pro Wrestling EVE (they missed the TJPW event in Kyoto as a result):
At the first event, Yamashita beat Millie McKenzie to earn an EVE Championship match against current champion Alex Windsor at the second event. At that second event, Yamashita beat Windsor to win the title. McKenzie made an immediate challenge and Yamashita accepted, but stated it will happen in Japan. That match will happen at ALL RISE ’22 on 11/27 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Misao teamed with Session Moth Martina at the first event to challenge EVE Tag Team Champions Leah O’Reilly & Sky Smithson for the titles. In the end, Misao & Martina lost when Misao hit Hypami Returns on Smithson but O’Reilly made the save and a subsequent spray attack by Misao & Martina backfired. Smithson finished with Smithson Effect and the champs retained the titles. At the second event, in what appeared to be a hardcore comedy match, Misao beat Nightshade after Hypami Returns on a chair. Misao’s comedy “hero bicycle” also made the trip to Japan and appeared during this match.
Yamashita & Misao will be back for the next TJPW event, which is Sunday at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo to continue the Fall ’22 house show tour.
