Tokyo Joshi Pro had announced that Runa Okubo, the youngest member of the roster, is going on another indefinite hiatus, and likely a long-term one. Because of changes in her life right now, pertaining in large part to education (she started high school earlier this year), she would have a hard time balancing wrestling & school so after discussions with the promotion and her parents, it was decided she would take another extended hiatus from wrestling after next Sunday’s event at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo. Her final match will be against Yuki Kamifuku. Okubo will be back at some point like last time but when isn’t known. Not knowing bow the Japanese education calendar works I’m thinking at least 6 months.
