Some of the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster headed to England today for a co-promoted event with the Pro Wrestling EVE promotion, where Miyu Yamashita in particular has been a regular visitor the last couple years.
Today’s event was held at Conway Hall in London, England and can be watched on demand with a paid subscription to the Pro Wrestling EVE YouTube channel, which starts at $9.99/month.
The attendance was not announced.
Pre-show match: Skye Smitson beat Anita Vaughn & Casey in a 3-way by pinning Vaughn.
Match 1: Mahiro Kiryu beat HIMAWARI.
Match 2: Alex Windsor beat Lena Cross.
Match 3: Raku beat Session Moth Martina.
Match 4: Aja Kong & Max The Impaler beat Sapphire Reid & Gigi. Kong pinned Reed after a diving elbow drop. (Side note: On the socials Max posted about being very sad about Pom Harajuku not being at the event)
Main Event: Pro Wrestling EVE Champion Nina Samuels beat Miyu Yamashita to retain the title. Afterwards, Yamashita said TJPW would be back for future collaborations with EVE as the event was considered a success.
The next event is the Tokyo Princess Cup Finals tomorrow at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English will begin TONIGHT at 7:10 PM PT/10:10 PM ET. I hope to be able to do live results but may not be able to due to schedule conflicts. Those who were in England today will not be back in time for this event.
