Tokyo Joshi Pro resumed their fall 2022 house show tour today with an event headlined by a match to determine the next challenger for the International Princess Championship.
Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 206.
Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh both missed this event due to overseas excursions.
Match 1: Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Kaya Toribami beat Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku. Noa pinned Harajuku with a blizzard suplex hold.
Match 2: Hyper Misao beat Neko Haruna & Yuki Kamifuku in a 3-way by pinning Haruna.
Match 3: Rika Tatsumi beat Mahiro Kiryu.
Match 4: Mei Suruga beat Moka Miyamoto. This was to have been Abadon (All Elite Wrestling) vs. Miyamoto, but Abadon was unable to travel to Japan due to visa issues. Refunds were offered to fans as a result.
Match 5: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki beat Shoko Nakajima & Arisu Endo. Nakajima pinned Endo after Magical Merry-Go-Round.
Main Event: Miu Watanabe beat Suzume. As a result, Watanabe will be the next challenger for International Princess Champion Alex Windsor. That match will happen at WRESTLE PRINCESS 3 on 10/9 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
