All-Japan kicked off the World’s Strongest Tag League, the promotion’s annual tag team tournament, today in Tokyo. And they also launched a completely remade website too.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. This event also aired live on GAORA SPORTS in Japan.

The announced paid attendance was 1393.

Match 1: World’s Strongest Tag League Block B: Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Seigo Tachibana beat Cyrus & Hartley Jackson. Tachibana pinned Jackson. (Hey, they gotta win one match after all)

Match 2: World’s Strongest Tag League Block A: Daisuke Sekimoto (Big Japan) & Kengo Mashimo (Independent/Freelancer) beat Hokuto Omori & Kumaarashi. Sekimoto pinned Omori after The Big Bang Catastrophe.

Match 3: Ryuji Hijikata & MAZADA (Independent/Freelancer) beat Ryo Inoue & Taishin Nagao. MAZADA pinned Nagao after MAZADA Drop.

Match 4: Rising Hayato, Yuma Anzai, Ryuki Honda & Ren Ayabe beat Shotaro Ashino, Dan Tamura, MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka. Honda pinned Tamura after Final Vent.

Match 5: World’s Strongest Tag League Block B: Yuma Aoyagi & Fuminori Abe beat Hikaru Sato & Yuko Miyamoto. Aoyagi pinned Sato.

Match 6: World’s Strongest Tag League Block A: Jun & Rei Saito beat Makoto Oishi (Independent/Freelancer) & Mike D. Vecchio. Rei Saito pinned Oishi after Ice Vine.

Main Event: World’s Strongest Tag League Block : Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr. beat Suwama & Hideki Suzuki. Smith pinned Suwama after Bulldog Bomb.
