All-Japan News: Tag Champs US-Bound

All-Japan announced today that current All-Japan World Tag Team Champions Ren Ayabe & Talos are US-bound for NWA (National Wrestling Alliance, the Billy Corgan-owned one) participation in April. Ayabe & Talos will be part of the 40th Crockett Cup on 4/4 in Formey, TX. They probably will be announced by NWA later on. The NWA website indicates this will be a NWA POWERRR TV taping so the event, and Ayabe/Talos matches, should be available on demand FOR FREE on The Roku Channel in the US at a later date (a Roku device or TV IS NOT REQUIRED to watch The Rolu Channel, which is free with ads).

As a result of this, Ayabe & Talos are off the 4/3 event at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo but should be back in time for the Champions Carnival which starts on 4/12.

All-Japan Pro Wrestling 3/15/2026 LIVE Results

All-Japan kicks off their March tour, the Dream Power Series 2026, today in Tokyo. The Zennichi Jr. Tag Festival continues today with the Semifinals, which are Dan Tamura & Hikaru Sato vs. Ryo Inoue & Mozhicuki Junior and Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising Hayato vs. Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu. The main event will be an All-Japan World Tag Team Title match: Ren Ayabe & Talos have been a giant team the last year and are the current champions, but today they run into DOOM! Jun & Rei Saito are back together now that Rei has returned from a shoulder in jury and they’re coming to take the titles back.

There will also be a pre-show match that marks Yuma Aoyagi’s return to the promotion after a 3-month suspension for a major traffic accident in November 2025 where he was found to be at fault and driving without a license among other charges. He was also docked 50% of his pay before being reinstated this past week.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV in Japanese. This will also be a Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan, but it’s not known if it will be live or be taped to air at a later date. The pre-show match will not be part of the AJPW.TV live broadcast. The main card has 6 matches planned, the Tag Festival matches are no time limit so it’s a little harder to predict a total running time but based on the other matches, and taking an intermission into account, I’m guessing it will be close to 3 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Pre-show:
Yuma Aoyagi Return Match: Yuma Aoyagi vs. Hideki Suzuki (will not be broadcast live on AJPW.TV)

Main Show:

7:35 PM PT UPDATE: Back up and running, so live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. I came in during the opening video so commentary will start shortly.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Advance ticket sales seemed pretty good, could have a chance at a sellout with good same-day walkups. Based on so far I’ll predict around 1200 depending on the setup. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1278)

The matches will begin momentarily.

All-Japan News: Update Regarding Yuma Aoyagi

All-Japan announced the following today regarding Yuma Aoyagi, who was suspended for 3 months with half pay after a serious at-fault traffic accident in November 2025 (on 11/23) which led to several citations: After discussions with him and “sufficient reflection obtained”, Aoyagi is REINSTATED as of 3/1/2026 and will return on 3/15 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. His return match will be a pre-show match against Hideki Suzuki. Both the promotion and Aoyagi sincerely apologized again for what happened and vowed do do better going forward.

All-Japan News: Wrestler Departing One Promotion

This headline confused me when I saw it this morning because Weekly Pro reports All-Japan wrestler Rising Hayato is leaving the Ehime Pro Wrestling promotion soon. I couldn’t get all the details because the whole article is paywalled on their mobile site but apparently Hayato started out there and remained a member of the roster after joining All-Japan some time ago, but now he is leaving Ehime Pro. The Japanese call it “graduating” which means he is probably leaving on good terms and it’s partly his call. This shouldn’t affect his All-Japan participation, at least not negatively.

It’s not uncommon for wrestlers to be members of more than one promotion, at least where there are working relationships/shared ownership (like Pro Wrestling NOAH & DDT which are both owned by CyberFight Corporation), although there are notable outliers to this-specifically Konosuke Takeshita being a member of New Japan, DDT and All Elite Wrestling (New Japan & AEW have a working relationship, but New Japan & DDT don’t unless you count the relatively new United Japan Pro Wrestling alliance that has almost every major and notable independent promotion included EXCEPT All-Japan). All-Japan seems to be the exception though.
