All-Japan 5/29/2026 Results

All-Japan kicked off the Super Power Series 2026 Tour today in Tokyo, which will tun through mid-June.

Today’s event was held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV.

The announced paid attendance was 337, a legit advance sellout.

There was a last-minute change to Match 2 due to Hikaru Sato being pulled off the event. Unspecified injuries (probably from getting beaten up too much in Pro Wrestling NOAH recently). Hyo Ogawa was the replacement.

Match 1: Ryuki Honda beat Yasutaka Yano.

Match 2: Dan Tamura & Hokuto Omori beat Seigo Tachibana & Hyo Ogawa (Independent/Freelancer). Tamura pinned Tachibana after a powerbomb.

Match 3: Go Shiozaki, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising Hayato beat Xyon, Shotaro Ashino & MUSASHI. Shiozaki pinned MUSASHI. (For those wondering, Odyssey had to head back to the US so he probably won’t appear this tour. Probably non-visa-related travel time limits. He should be back again in the future)

Match 4: Kumaarashi beat Ryo Inoue.

Match 5: Yuma Aoyagi & Daisuke Sekimoto beat Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji. Aoyagi pinned Kofuji after THE FOOL.

Main Event: Kento Miyahara, Jun & Rei Saito beat Hideki Suzuki, Ren Ayabe & Talos. Rei Saito pinned Ayabe.

The next event is tomorrow at Koga City ES Central Sports Park Hanamomo Gym in Ibaraki. There will be no live broadcast. On demand later in the day.

Injury Report: Being Hardcore Really Is Painful

Hikaru Sato may still be hardcore, indicated by his winning the GHC Hardcore Championship in Pro Wrestling NOAH Monday, but that doesn’t mean the former MMA fighter is immune to pain and it’s caused All-Japan some issues as they announced Sato is out of action. Unspecified injury. Out at least 2 weeks and the entire Super Power Series 2026 Tour. Card changes have been announced. It’s not yet known if this will affect the 6/15 NOAH event where Sato is to defend the title in a 3-way.

More as it becomes available.

Champions Carnival:
Match 6: Block A: Talos beat Odyssey.
Match 7: Block B: Hideki Suzuki beat Madoka Kikuta (Dragon Gate).
Main Event: Block B: Ren Ayabe beat Ryuki Honda.

Before we continue…
Injury Report: Anzai was injured during yesterday’s event and competed today but it may have factored in his match going less than 2 minutes. Right leg. Out Tuesday which means tournament over. He was to have faced Rei Saito, who will now get a forfeit win. It costs Anzai a chance at advancing, unfortunately. Senor Saito is the replacement and will team with Rei Saito to face Hideki Suzuki & Shota Kofuji in a pre-show match.

Standings, which include the Anzai forfeit for Tuesday:
Block A:
1-Rei Saito, 4-3, 8 pts
2-Miyahara, 3-2-1, 7 pts
3-Shiozaki, 3-3, 6 pts
5-Kumaarashi, 3-3, 6 pts
5-Mashimo, 3-3, 6 pts
6-Talos, 3-3, 6 pts
7-Odyssey, 3-3, 6 pts
8-Anzai, 2-4-1, 5 pts (OUT)

Block B:
1-Suzuki, 4-2-1, 9 pts
2-Ayabe, 4-2, 8 pts
3-Sekimoto, 4-2, 8 pts
4-Yuma Aoyagi, 3-2-1, 7 pts
5-Honda, 3-3, 6 pts
6-Kikita, 3-2-1 NP (No Points), 6 pts
7-Xyon, 2-3-1 NP, 4 pts (OUT)
8-Jun Saito, 0-7, 0 pts (OUT-injured)

The top 2 in each block advance to the Semifinals. The Anzai injury shook up Block A, meaning Saito can only not advance on tiebreakers and taking Anzai out of contention. Saito loses tiebreakers to Miyahara, Mashimo and Odyssey. Miyahara advances with a win against Mashimo. But if Miyahara loses or draws, it will come down to tiebreakers and we’re almost certainly going to need a tiebreaker multi-man match. In Block B. Suzuki is not yet safe as he needs either Ayabe or Sekimoto to lose. If either Ayabe or Sekimoto win, the winner advances. If both win their matches, they both advance and Suzuki is out. Aoyagi must beat Xyon to have a chance to advance, and he needs both Ayabe & Sekimoto to lose. Xwon is officially out. Otherwise, it’s going to come doen to tiebreakers.

The last prelim round event is Tuesday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on AJPW.TV will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET. This will also be a Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan although it’s not clear whether it will be live or taped for broadcast at a later date.

In other news, the NWA Crockett Cup Tournament, which was won earlier this year by Ren Ayabe & Talos, is now airing in the US as part of Season 27 of NWA POWERRR on new TV home COMET. The first 2 episodes which premiered on May 1 & 2 are available on demand for another day or so on participating TV providers that support on demand/DVR with future new episodes airing Saturdays at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET. COMET is also available online FOR FREE at comettv.com, but you can only watch live episodes on the website (no on demand programming is available.). No cable/satellite authentication or account creation is required to watch on the website.

Injury Report: From Rising To Falling

I like to sometimes joke about how All-Japan wrestler Rising Hayato should have maybe changed his name to Risen Hayato when he won the All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately he’s Falling Hayato for now due to an injury that occurred Sunday. Left leg. Out at least 1 week, to include the 5/5 Golden Week event. Changes have been announced for all events over this next week. It’s not yet known if he will be out longer.

Block B:
1-Sekimoto, 4-1, 8 pts
2-Suzuki, 3-2-1, 7 pts
3-Madoka Kikuta, 3-0-1 NP (No Points), 6 pts
4-Honda, 3-2, 6 pts
5-Anzai, 2-2-1, 5 pts
6-Ayabe, 2-2, 4 pts
7-Xyon, 2-3-1 NP, 4 pts (OUT)
8-Jun Saito, 0-7, 0 pts (OUT-injured)

The top 2 in each block advance to the Semifinals. In Block A, Kumaarashi is now all but out as his only hope is to force a 3-way (or more) tiebreaker because he loses tiebreakers to Saito, Odyssey & Miyahata but has yet to face Mashimo. In Block B, Xyon is now officially out. Despite being at 4 points, Ayabe is still very much in it because he has 3 matches left. Sekimoto controls his destiny but still has Ayabe & Honda so he is not safe despite the lead.

The next event is Saturday (Friday night US time) at Southern Tohoku General Wholesale Center in Fukushima. There will be no live broadcast. On demand shortly after the event.

All-Japan 4/25/2026 Results

All-Japan continued the Champions Carnival 2026 today in Saitama.

Today’s event was held at Kasukabe Fureai Cube in Saitama and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. There was no live broadcast but the on demand version was put up earlier than expected.

The announced paid attendance was 453, a legit sellout.

Match 1: MUSASHI, Ryo Inoue & Seiki Yoshioka beat Atsuki Aoyagi, Rising Hayato & Shota Kofuji. Inoue pinned Kofuji after a buzzsaw kick.

Champions Carnival:
Match 2: Block B: Hideki Suzuki vs. Yuma Aoyagi went to a double pinfall. Draw. 1 point for each.
Match 3: Block A: Kengo Mashimo beat Odyssey by submission.
Match 4: Block B: Madoka Kikuta (Dragon Gate) beat Daisuke Sekimoto.

Match 5: Seigo Tachibana, Shotaro Ashino, Hokuto Onori & Hyo Ogawa (Independent/Freelancer) beat Dan Tamura, Ren Ayabe, Go Shiozaki & Yuma Anzai. Tachibana beat Tamura with a crossface.

Champions Carnival:
Match 6: Block A: Rei Saito beat Talos.
Match 7: Block B: Ryuki Honda beat Xyon.
Main Event: Block A: Kento Miyahara beat Kumaarashi.

Standings:
Block A:
1-Rei Saito, 3-1, 6 pts
2-Miyahara, 2-1-1, 5 pts
3-Mashimo, 2-1, 4 pts
4-Odyssey, 2-2, 4 pts
5-Shiozaki, 2-2, 5 pts
6-Anzai, 1-1-1, 3 pts
7-Talos, 1-2, 2 pts
8-Kumaarashi, 0-3, 0 pts

Block B:
1-Suzuki, 3-2-1, 7 pts
2-Kikuta, 3-0-1 NP (No Points), 6 pts
3-Sekimoto, 3-1, 6 pts
4-Honda, 3-1, 6 pts
5-Ayabe, 2-1, 4 pts
6-Yuma Aoyagi, 2-2-1 NP, 4 pts
7-Xyon, 1-2-1, 3 pts
8-Jun Saito, 0-7, 0 pts (OUT-injured)

The top 2 in each block advance to the Semifinals. It’s still too early to predict Block A except Kumaarashi is all but out. In Block B, Suzuki is in a tough spot as the leader-in part because of the Jun Saito forfeits he has only one match left while everyone else has 2 or 3 remaining. The no points outcome really hurts Yuma Aoyagi’s chances with 2 matches left. It could also hurt Kikuta in a tie for second. If needed, tiebreakers wiill be head-to-head result. If that was a draw OR there are more than 2 tied for one of the advancing spots, a 3-way match (or more) will be held at the end.

The next event is tomorrow (tonight US time) at Sanjo City Welfare Hall in Niigata. There will be no live broadcast. On demand scheduled for 6 PM PT/9 PM ET but could be earlier.
