Tokyo Joshi Pro 8/9/25 Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro continued the Tokyo Princess Cup today with the Quarterfinals.

Today’s event was held at Shinagawa Grand Hall in Tokyo and cam be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 384, a super full house/very near sellout.

Match 1: Kaya Toribami beat Ren Konatdu.

Match 2: Ivy Steele Farewell Match: Toga & Chika Nanase beat Kira Summer & Ivy Steele. Toga pinned Steele after Rock Bottom. Steele is returning home to the UK to continue college after completing a one-year study abroad program in Japan. Based on post-match comments, she may be back someday. Hopefully so because I really like her.

Match 3: Yuki Kamifuku beat Pom Harajuku & HIMAWARI in a 3-way by pinning Harajuku.

Match 4: Hyper Misao, Yuki Aino & Mahiro Kiryu beat Suzume, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami. Aino pinned Takami after Venus DDT.

Match 5: Maki Itoh & Raku beat Rika Fatsumi & Mifu Ashida. Itoh beat Ashida with Itoh Deluxe.

Tokyo Princess Cup Quarterfinals:
Match 6: Miu Watanabe beat Haru Kazashiro.
Match 7: Yuki Arai beat Wakana Uehara by submission.
Match 8: Arisu Endo beat Miyu Yamashita.
Main Event: Shoko Nakajima beat Mizuki. This virtually guarantees Mizuki defending the Princess Of Princess Championship against the tournament winner at WRESTLE PRINCESS 6. After the match, Nakajima called Steele back out to give her a proper farewell.

Afterwards, a drawing was held to reshuffle the Semifinals pairings. As a result, the Semifinals will be Nakajima vs. Watanabe and Arai vs. Endo. Had the bracket been unchanged as planned, we would’ve had Arai-Nakajima & Endo-Watanabe.

The Semifinals are on 8/17 at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin on 8/16 at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET.

Also, as of 8/13 last week’s Hyper Misao Produced event is now available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
