All-Japan wrapped up the World’s Strongest/Real World Tag League preliminary round today with the final matches, which would set the Finals.
Today’s event was held at Port Messe Nagoya in Nagoya and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV.
The announced paid attendance was 615.
Match 1: Atsuki Aoyagi, Ryo Inoue & Shota Kofuji beat Takashi, Hiroki Murase & Jack Kennedy. Inoue pinned Kennedy after a buzzsaw kick.
Match 2: Jun Saito & Yuma Anzai beat Kento Miyahara & Daveu Boy Smith Jr. Anzai pinned Miyahara with a shutdown suplex hold. Interesting.
Tag League:
Match 3: Block A: Hokuto Omori & Kumaarashi beat Dan Tamura & Hikaru Sato. Kumaarashi pinned Tamura.
Match 4: Block B: Xyon & Odyssey beat Ryuki Honda & Naoya Nomura. Xyon pinned Honda after a diving headbutt. As a result, Xyon/Odyssey win Block B with a perfect record and advance to the Finals.
Match 5: Block A: MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka beat Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo. MUSASHI pinned Suzuki
Main Event: Block A: Ren Ayabe & Talos beat Shotaro Ashino & Go Shiozaki. Ayabe pinned Ashino after Des Roulette. As a result, Ayabe & Talos win Block A and advance to the Finals.
The Finals will be Ayabe/Talos vs. Xyon/Odyssey.
