All-Japan runs the penultimate event of the Excite Series 2026 Tour today in Tokyo, which also kicks off the Zennichi Jr. Tag Festival Tournament. This Junior Heavyweight Tag Team tournament is a bracket-style single-elimination format event with the first two matches today-a field of 8 means today’s winners will advance to to the Semifinals on 3/15. In the first match, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising Hayato will face Fuminori Abe & Seigo Tachibana, while in the second match Ryo Inoue teams with Dragon Gate wrestler Mochizuki Junior to face Senor Saito & Naruki Doi. The other two matches will be held on 2/23.
There has been a last-minute change to the card due to an “emergency decision” of Hikaru Sato & Yuko Miyamoto participation today. Because of this, what was planned to be MUSASHI, Kota Sekifuda & Toshiyuki Sakuda vs. Dan Tamura, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu is now MUSASHI/Sekifuda/Sakuda/Miyamoto vs. Tamura/Yoshioka/Susumu/Sato. No injuries or anything negative behind this change though.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV in Japanese. This will be taped for broadcast on Samurai! TV in Japan on 2/22. Rei Saito will be a special guest on commentary. There are 7 matches planned today with an intermission after the 4th match and no time limit for the tournament matches, so this event may run a little longer than usual for a non-major Korakuen event and probably will wind up closer to 3 hours.
