New Japan 6/3/2026 Results

New Japan finished the prelims of Beat Of The Super Junior 33 today, attempting to quell the chaos it created with having to narrow 12 co-leaders (7 in Block A) down to the 4 Semifinalists.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on New Japan World.

The announced paid attendance was 1255.

All matches were Best Of The Super Junior Matches.

Block B:
Match 1: Sho beat Jacob Austin Young by ref stoppage (towel). A masked man threw in the towel, with suspicions being it was Yujiro Takahashi.
Match 2: Taiji Ishimori beat KUSHIDA.
Match 3: El Desperado beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
Match 4: Yoh beat Daisuke Sasaki.
Match 5: Robbie Ragles beat Hyo.
As a result, all 5 winners finished tied at 6-3, 12 pts. Once all the dust-and tiebreakers-were settled, Eagles wins Block B and Yoh finishes 2nd and advance to the Semifinals.

Block A:
Match 6: Kosei Fujita beat Daiki Nagai.

As a result, the 7 co-leaders were narrowed down to just 3. After the tiebreakers were settled, Wato wins Block A and Fujita finished 2nd and advance to the Semifinals, Akira is OUT because he lost both tiebreakers. Titan he certainly was not, should have moved on after starting 5-0 but didn’t win again.

The Semifinals will be Yoh vs. Wato and Eagles vs. Fujita.

The Semifinals are Friday at G Messe Gunma in Gunma. Live streaming on New Japan World will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.
