New Japan and Mexico’s CMLL ran another FANTASTICAMANIA 2026 event Friday, this one in Mexico. New Japan has provided results from their participation in the event.
Friday’s event was held at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico and can be watched on demand on the CMLL YouTube channel, but it is currently paywalled behind what I believe is a $30/month (USD) membership tier. It may be un-paywalled at a later date or the matches may be added to New Japan World.
Match 1: Valiente Jr., Futuri & Max Starr beat YUTANI, OKUMURA & Shoma Kato. Valiente pinned Kato after Codiego Rojo (Code Red).
Match 3: Mascara Dorada, Templatio & Neon beat Titan, Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X. Dorada pinned X after a shooting star press.
Match 4: CMLL World Tag Team. Hampions Niebla Roja & Angel De Oro beat Dick Togo & SANADA to retain the titles.
Match 5: El Phantasmo beat Barbaro Cavernario.
Match 6: Konosuke Takeshita & Hechicero beat Ultimo Guerrero & Gran Guerrero. Takeshita pinned Ultimo Guerrero after Raging Fire.
Main Event: In a 2/3 Falls Match, Mistico, Tiger Mask & Blue Panther beat Averno, Blavk Toget & Volador Jr. 2-0. Fall 1: Mistico pinned Averno after La Mistica. Fall 2: TM 4 pinned Black Tiger after a tiger driver. This was TM 4’s final Mexico match before his retirement on 7/7. He was presented with a special commemorative CMLL Championship belt afterwards.
