Pro Wrestling NOAH ran their final Shinjuku Face event today, saying their farewell to the Tokyo venue as it prepares to shut down at the end of summer after 20 years.
Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 470. Possibly a near-sellout as only standing room tickets were sold today.
Match 1: Hiroto Tsuruya vs. Midori Takahashi went to a 10 minute time limit draw.
Match 2: Yoshiki Inamura, Dragon Bane & Alejandro beat Atsushi Kotoge, Mohammed Yone & Hajime Ohara. Inamura pinned Ohara after Musou.
Match 3: AMAKUSA, Kid Lykos 1 & 2 beat Tadauske, Alpha Wolf & Jun Masaoka by DQ. Tadasuke DQ’d. ref assault.
Match 4: Tetsuya Naito beat Daiki Odashima by ref stoppage (technical submission).
Match 5: Eita & Katsumi Inahata beat BUSHI & RYUSEI. Eita pinned RYUSEI after Numero Uno.
Match 6: OZAWA, Masa Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura beat Shane Haste, Manabu Soya & Yuki iino (DDT). Kitamiya pinned Iino after Saito seiplex.
Main Event: Kaito Kiyomiya won a 12 man battle royal, last eliminating Yuto Koyanagi.
The next event is Saturday at Shimada General Sports Center Sub-Arena in Shizuoka. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.
