Tokyo Joshi Pro’s annual November quarterly major event, ALL RISE ’26, is coming up today. The last of their signature major events, it is headlined by the standard 3 title matches-first up, the youth movement tries to take another big step forward as Uta Takami challenges International Princess Champion Suzume for the title. Second, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defend the Princess Tag Team Championship against the tricky & wacky duo of Pom Harajuku & Raku. Finally, in the main event, it’s another one that will have me on edge as Yuki Arai defends the Princess Of Princess Championship against Shoko Nakajima. Arai has never beaten Nakajima in singles matches yet which obviously worries me, but hopefully today will be the first time. Earlier in the card there also is the NexGene Tournament Finals as Ren Konatsu faces Momo Sato, with the double-elimination rule meaning Sato has to beat Konatsu twice to win it all, and a pair of new wrestlers are welcomed aboard as J-Pop idol Shiori Futaba will make her debut along with fellow rookie Yui Musubi, both in tag matches.
Although it did not affect the card due to announcement timing, it was also announced that Miyu Yamashita, HIMAWARI & Sakura Hattori are all off the event. Schedule conflicts. In Yamashita’s case it’s more Pro Wrestling EVE participation in England, there was an event yesterday (11/6) I believe) so she may not have made it back in time even in best-case. Not sure about HIMAWARI & Hattori.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Marika Tani will be making her semi-regular appearance on commentary for several matches as the host and voice actress Ayaka Shimizu will be a special guest on commentary. There are 8 matches planned so a little light for a Korakuen event and that along with the usual post-match fan event (which is at Ryogoku KFC Hall) should mean a “standard” Korakuen running time of about 2 1/2 hours.
Today’s lineup:
Yui Musubi Debut Match: Yui Musubi & Toga vs. Shion Kanzaki & Chieri Sakimori
Hyper Misao & Shino Suzuki vs. Mahiro Kiryu & Kira Summer
Shiori Futaba Debut Match: Shiori Futaba, Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi vs. Mizuki, Wakana Uehara & Mifu Ashida
NexGene Tournament Finals: Ren Konatsu vs. Momo Sato. If Sato wins, there will be an immediate rematch because Sato must win twice to win the tournament (it’s double-elimination, Sato has lost once while Konatsu has not lost)
Yuki Kamifuku & Nagisa Nozaki vs. Arisu Endo & Chika Nanase
International Princess Champion Suzume vs. Uta Takami for the title
Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro vs. Pom Harajuku & Raku for the titles
Princess Of Princess Champion Yuki Arai vs. Shoko Nakajima for the title
