New Japan has provided an update on Shota Umino, who was pulled from the G1 CLIMAX 36 after just one match due to a potential concussion-while we don’t know if he had more than symptoms, what we do know is he will return on 9/5 at Light Cube Utsunomiya in Tochigi. He’ll return in a 6-man tag match with YOSHI-HASHI & Tatsuya Matsunoto against Jacob Austin Young, HENARE & Great-O-Khan.
Unino lost his G1 opener against Zack Sabre Jr. but was injured during the match. The promotion pulled him out for precautionary reasons.
