There have been a lot of rumors and rumblings about what was next for Hiromu Takahashi after he left New Japan earlier this year but opted to not reunite with his former Los Ingobernales…ahem, Los Tranquilos de Japan factionmates Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI (who now are unofficially officially part of Pro Wrestling NOAH). According to the Japanese wrestling news media, we now have the answer, which was not unexpected…
WWE.
And he’s got his new-and-trademarked-so-WWE-can make-all-the-money-and-the-wrestlers-can’t-ring name: Kyoki. This possibly translates to English as “Mad Oddity” and he possibly may be teaming with fellow ex-New Japan wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura upon his debut, but reports are he already has his first match in the books, a non-televised match that took place yesterday as part of a live Raw broadcast and SmackDown tapings for this coming Friday’s episode.
We’ll see what happens, I guess.
