Although it’s technically still summer, Tokyo Joshi Pro kicks off the fall 2026 house show tour today with an event in Yokohama. With just under a month to WRESTLE PRINCESS 7, today will set up one of the at least 3 title matches (since there will be, at least right now, no International Princess Championship match due to current champion Suzume challenging Yuki Arai for the Princess Of Princess Championship, they instead have added Shoko Nakajima defending the SETUP All-Asia Championship that she just won in Thailand, challenger TBA) as the next challenger for Princess Tag Team Champions Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi will be determined in a 3-way between Miyu Yamashita & Sakura Hattori, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro and HIMAWARI & Toga. On paper Yamashita & Hattori fka Kaya Toribami would seem like the favorites although of course we’re waiting on that breakthrough for a Toga Party, plus Aino & Kazashiro have made a good team, but we’ll see what happens.
There have been late changes to the card due to Mahiro Kiryu being pulled off the event. Back (again), after missing a week last month due to injury she perhaps was rushed back too soon from it. Now out about 3 weeks and expected back on 9/22 for a hometown event in Gunma. She was to have faced Shion Kanzaki. Pom Harajuku was pulled from a tag match and will now face Kanzaki, with a tag match Harajuku was in now becoming a 3-way.
Today’s event will be held at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. (As an FYI, if you are using the WRESTLE UNIVERSE app on iPhone or iPad, go and update to the latest version 3.8.6 if you haven’t already as the prior 3.8.4 version is having issues with crashes, this per the service) There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned today and based on the lineup and time limits it probably will be a “standard” house show with a running time of about 2 hours.
