All-Japan wrapped up the New Year Wars 2025 Tour today with a major event in Chiba.
Today’s event was held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center Hall 4 in Chiba and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. It will also air on GAORA SPORTS in Japan at a later date.
The announced paid attendance was 1012.
Match 1: Rei Saito & Senor Saito beat Taishin Nagao & Seiki Yoshioka. Rei Saito pinned Nagao after a chokeslam.
Match 2: GAORA TV Champion Yuko Miyamoto beat Shotaro Ashino to retain the title. V2 for Miyamoto.
Match 3: Hideki Suzuki & Dan Tamura beat Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda. Suzuki beat Honda with Legal Stretch.
Match 4: All-Japan 6-Man Tag Team Champions Yuma Aoyagi, Fuminori Abe & Hikaru Sato beat Hokuto Omori, Kumaarashi & TBA, revealed at match time to be Aja Kong (OZ Academy), to retain the titles. Aoyagi pinned Omori after The Fool. V1 for the champs.
Match 5: Rising Hayato, Ryuki Honda & Ren Ayabe beat Kento Miyahara, Atsuki Aoyagi & Ryo Inoue. Honda pinned Inoue after Final Vent.
Match 6: MUSASHI beat All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Champion Naruki Doi to win the title. MUSASHI becomes the 70th All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Champion.
Main Event: All-Japan Triple Crown Champion Jun Saito beat Yuma Anzai to retain the Triple Crown. V1 for Saito.
The next event is 2/9 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo with the Saitos vs. the Aoyagis for the All-Japan World Tag Team Championship. Live streaming on AJPW.TV will begin on 2/8 at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET. This will also be a Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan.
