All-Japan 12/7/22 Results

All-Japan wrapped up the World’s Strongest Tag League today as well as finishing the Jr. Battle Of Glory with a tiebreaker match to determine the winner.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV.

The announced paid attendance was 801.

Match 1: Ryo Inoue & Hikaru Sato beat Hokuto Omori & Rising Hayato. Sato pinned Hayato after Death Valley Bomb.

Match 2: Shuji Ishikawa & Cyrus beat Ryuki Honda & Izanagi. Cyrus pinned Izanagi after a reverse splash.

Match 3: Takao Omori & Masao Inoue beat All-Asia Tag Team Champions Yusuke Kodama & Masao Hanabata, Yoshitatsu & TAJIRI and Black Menso-re & ATM in a 4-way, when Inoue pinned Kodama, to win the titles. Omori & Inoue become the 117th All-Asia Tag Team Champions.

Match 4: World’s Strongest Tag League: Jake Lee & Yuma Aoyagi beat Koji Doi & Kuma Arashi. Aoyagi pinned Arashi.

Match 5: World’s Strongest Tag League: Yuji Nagata & Yuma Anzai beat Suwama & KONO. Anzai pinned Suwama with a German suplex hold. UPSET ALERT!!! That’s indescribably huge, All-Japan’s clear top star got pinned by a rookie.

Match 6: Kento Miyahara & Takuya Nomura beat Jun & Rei Saito by ref stoppage. Nomura beat Jun Saito with a sleeper hold. That ended the tournament, but it meant there was a tie, so a tiebreaker match between Miyahara/Nomura and Ishikawa/Cyrus would be held.

Match 7: Jr. Battle Of Glory Finals: Atsuki Aoyagi beat Dan Tamura to win the tournament. This was a tiebreaker match with no time limit. Aoyagi beat Tamura in the final tournament match to force a rematch.

Main Event: World Tag League Finals: Kento Miyahara & Takuya Nomura beat Shuji Ishikawa & Cyrus to win the tournament. Miyahara pinned Ishikawa with a shutdown suplex hold.
