All-Japan held their 51st Anniversary event today, commemorating the promotion’s beginning in June 1972 by returning to the venue where it all began for them.

Today’s event was held at Machida Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV.

The announced paid attendance was 810.

Match 1: Dan Tamura beat Ryo Inoue.

Match 2: Takao Omori & Yoshitatsu beat Black Menso-re & SUSHI. Omori pinned SUSHI after Ax Bomber.

Match 3: Naruki Doi & Hokuto Omori beat Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising Hayato. Omori pinned Hayato after Dreaming.

Match 4: Manabu Soya (Pro Wrestling NOAH) beat Hikaru Sato.

Match 5: Yuji Nagata (New Japan) & Satoshi Kojima beat Jun & Rei Saito. Nagata pinned Jun Saito with a backdrop hold.

Match 6: Shuji Ishikawa & Masashi Takeda (Independent/Freelancer) beat Ryuki Honda & Yusuke Kodama. Takeda pinned Kodama after Reverse U Crash.

Main Event: Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi vs. Suwama & Yuma Anzai went to a 30 minute time limit draw.

The next event is ALL TOGETHER AGAIN, the joint New Japan/All-Japan/NOAH charity fundraiser event, Friday at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. The live broadcast will be available only on New Japan World as a PPV.

The next regular event is 6/11 at Big Palette Fukushima in Fukushima with an All-Japan 6-Man Tag Team Championship and All-Asia Tag Team Championship match scheduled, the latter being a deathmatch assuming Atsushi Onita returns from medical issues as planned. There will be no live broadcast, but it should be available on demand on AJPW.TV by midday in the US.
