GLEAT fans haven’t seen much of the Lidet UWF Championship lately since it had been around the waist of Fujita “Jr.” Hayato of Michinoku Pro Wrestling. That changed today…at a Michinoku Pro event it was announced the Lidet UWF Championship is now VACANT. Hayato vacated the title because of being out an unknown period of time due to illness. He had held the title since July 2023 but only made one successful defense as UWF fights take a backseat to G PROWRESTLING and are only featured every few events. No word yet on plans to crown a new champion.

For Tokyo, this is a free event but is weather permitting due to being outdoors so it may be cancelled if it rains. There will be no live broadcasts. For Osaka, it will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday.
Injury Report: Would A Sauna Day Help?
DDT has announced some last-minute changes for upcoming events following their special “Sauna wrestling” event today…maybe it would have helped Yuki Ueno because the KO-D Openweight Champion is temporarily on the sidelines. Fever. Out tomorrow and Sunday. Precautionary at this time. With at least a week until the next event after these Ueno should be fine going forward, as long as it doesn’t become coronavirus, but at least the next title match is a month away.
More as it becomes available.

This was the first time they ran this new venue, intended to be an eventual replacement for Yokohama Budokan, and while the venue’s listed capacity is 5000 I don’t know what the actual setup was.
