DDT wraps up the KING OF DDT 2026 Tournament today with the Semifinals & Finals. The winner will be next to challenge Yuki Ueno for the KO-D Openweight Championship. The Semifinals will be first and will be Minoru Suzuki vs. Shinya Aoki and MAO vs. Danshoku Dieno, with the winners then advancing to the Finals which is the main event. Before the Finals there will be a KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championship match.
There has been a last-minute change to the card due to Rukiya being pulled off the event. Neck. Out about a week. Apparently an old injury and is not serious but as a precaution he will be out. He was to have teamed with Hinata Kasai to face Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Yuki Ishida in a pre-show match. Akito is the replacement.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Super Sasadango Machine and-after his match-Akito will be guests on commentary. There will be a pre-show match as noted above so this will run a little longer than normal for a Korakuen event, so with the start time moved up the running time will likely be around 3 hours.
