New Japan ran their annual “Wrestling Hizen Country” special standalone event today in Saga.

The announced paid attendance was 1058. They may not have all been paid as there was a free admission campaign for Saga residents.
Match 1: Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Sho, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi beat Taisei Nakahara, Master Wato, Yoh & Shota Umino. Sho pinned Nakahara
Match 2: OSKAR (The Grouch) & Yuto Ice (Ice Baby) beat Tomoaki Honma & Toru Yano. OSKAR pinned Honma after KOB.
Match 3: Kosei Fujita, Hartley Jackson, Robbie Eagles & Ryohei Oiwa beat Masatora Yasuda, Ryusuke Taguchi, Taichi & Yuya Uemura. Fujita pinned Yausda with a German suplex hold.
Match 4: Jacob Austin Young, Great-O-Khan & HENARE beat Tatsuya Matsunoto, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto. Young pinned Matsumoto after Bite The Dust.
Match 5: Mistico (CMLL), Aaron Wolf & Boltin Oleg beat Dick Togo, Don Fale & Ren Narita. Mistico pinned Togo after La Mistica.
Match 6: Zane Jay, Francesco Akira, Jake Lee & Callum Newman beat Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori, Yota Tsuji & Shingo Takagi. Newman pinned X after MADE IN JAPAN. Going the usual major title match build route where one steals the other’s finisher. Or both.
Main Event: In a Lumberjack Match, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion DOUKI beat Tiger Mask by ref stoppage (technical submission) to retain the title. V4 for DOUKI. Next up: The Best Of The Super Junior winner. And DOUKI declared he was withdrawing from the tournament too. Updates to follow later this week.
