First up, this has the warning about SPOILERS because it comes from reports about this Saturday’s AEW Collision, which was TAPED yesterday. It involves New Japan and the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV, but nothing is official yet on the NJPW side and these spoiler reports aren’t always 100% accurate. The match is NEW IWGP Global Champion Shota Umino vs. Pac for the title. The spoiler reports for Collision say the match is happening but whether or not it’s for the title is unclear. No next challenger for Umino was announced after he won the title Sunday, at least not yet. NJPW probably wouldn’t have any non-Heavyweight title matches for a while because the G1 CLIMAX is next on the calendar in about a month.
