AEW Rampage 11/11/22 Results

Here are the quick results from tonight’s TAPED AEW Rampage in Boston, MA:

Jungle Boy confronted Christian Cage & Luchasaurus before getting beaten down and chokeslammed on a chair. This set up Jungle Boy vs. Luchasaurus in a steel cage match for Full Gear.

AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament:
Brian Cage beat Dante Martin.
Bandido beat Rush.
As a result, Bandido will face Ethan Page in the Semifinals. Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer was scheduled for tonight but was postponed after Archer attacked Starks on Dynamite Wednesday. Why this REALLY didn’t happen tonight is not known but Cage faces the winner.

Nyla Rose beat Kayla Sparks. Squash.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy beat Lee Johnson to retain the title..

I personally thought this was a really bad episode in every way outside of the squash. Rose imitated Jade Cargill, which was both hilarious and quite good. Very nice pump kick.

After the show went off the air, AEW announced on social media that Bandido has signed with the promotion.

Wednesday on the last Dynamite before Full Gear: Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara, Toni Storm vs. The Bunny, Page-Bandido, AEW Trios Champions Death Triangle vs. Top Flight (with the returning Darius Martin) & AR Fox for the titles, Tony Schiavone interviews Britt Baker, Renee Paquette interviews Saraya, Jon Moxley Speaks, MJF Speaks, Samoa Joe Speaks, and The Acclaimed debut a new music video. While not confirmed, probably Archer-Starks as well. Otherwise Cage would all but get a free pass to the Finals at Full Gear unless Archer-Starks winner competes twice next Friday.

Rampage is LIVE next week.

AEW Dynamite 11/9/22 Results

Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Boston, MAL

FTR & The Acclaimed beat Gunn Club, Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland. Max Caster pinned Austin Gunn after Mic Drop.

AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament: Ethan Page beat Eddie Kingston.

AEW TNT Champion Wardlow beat Ari Daivari to retain the title. Squash. Samoe Joe turned on Wardlow afterwards when Wardlow called out Powerhouse Hobbs.

Britt Baker & Saraya promo segment in the ring. Saraya revealed she is 100% medically cleared to compete. This led to her announcing Saraya-Baker for Full Gear.

Jay Lethal beat Trent Beretta.

Jamie Hayter beat Skye Blue.

In a 2 of 3 falls match, Bryan Danielson beat Sammy Guevara 2-1. Fall 1: Danielson beat Guevara by DQ. Fall 2: Guevara beat Danielson. Fall 3: Danielson beat Guevara by submission.

Added to Friday on Rampage: AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy vs. Lee Johnson for the title.

Added to Full Gear: Darby Allin & Sting vs. Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett and Baker-Saraya.

AEW Rampage 11/4/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage from Atlantic City, NJ (SPOILERS for west feed viewers):

Mike Tyson was a guest on commentary, but only for the first match.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy beat Katsuyori Shibata (New Japan Pro Wrestling) to retain the title.

Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter beat Madison Rayne & Slye Blue. Hayter pinned Rayne after a ripcord lariat.

Samoa Joe & Wardlow beat Gates Of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun). Wardlow pinned Kaun after the 4 powerbombs.

The full World Title Eliminator Tournament bracket was revealed: Quarterfinals are Eddie Kingston vs. Ethan Page, Bandido vs. Rush, Lance Archer vs. Ricky Starks and Brian Cage vs. Dante Martin. Kingston-Page is on Dynamite next week, the rest are on Rampage next week. Finals are at Full Gear with the winner getting an AEW World Title shot at Winter Is Coming aka the 12/14 Dynamite.

Disappointing show overall especially with Tyson only on for the first match, which is the only reason to watch.

Added to Full Gear: AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed vs. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland for the titles and ROH World Champion Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli & Sammy Guevara in a 4-way for the title.

Next week on Dynamite in addition to what was announced Wednesday and Kingston-Page: Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara in a 2 of 3 Falls match, Hayter-Blue, Jon Moxley speaks and Tony Schiavone interviews Britt Baker & Saraya.

AEW Dynamite 11/2/22 Results

Here are the quick results from last night’s AEW Dynamite in Baltimore, MD:

Jay Lethal beat Darby Allin. Jeff Jarrett interfered late. Jarrett has now signed with AEW and will also be in a backstage/corporate role.

Jon Moxley beat Lee Moriarty.

Renee Paquette did a quick sitdown with Saraya. Britt Baker was supposed to be there but no-showed.

Billy Gunn Birthday Bash with The Acclaimed. It ended when Gunn Club crashed the party (Austin & Colten are Billy’s real-life sons). This led to The Acclaimed & FTR vs. Gunn Club, Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland next week.

Baker talked to Tony Schiavone instead of Renee.

ROH World Champion Chris Jericho beat a former ROH Champion, who turned out to be Colt Cabana, to retain the title. Consider CM Punk definitely done with AEW now.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy beat Luchasaurus & Rey Fenix in a 3-way by pinning Fenix to retain the title. Jungle Boy interfered to take Luchasaurus out. As a result, Cassidy defends against anyone of his choice tomorrow on Rampage. That was immediately revealed as Katsuyori Shibata from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill beat Matina Shafir to retain the title. 41-0. Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero did “commentary” during the match. It was that bad.

ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe beat Brian Cage to retain the title. The Embassy beatdown on Joe afterwards until Wardlow made the save, but that allowed Powerhouse Hobbs to sneak in for a massive spinebuster to end the show.

I missed the first match but, excluding that, I didn’t care for this one. It was a Dynamite that happened.

Friday on a LIVE Rampage: Cassidy-Shibata, Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Madison Rayne & Skye Blue and the return of Mike Tyson (he will be a guest on commentary). Also more participants for the next AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Next week: The Acclaimed & FTR vs. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland & Gunn Club.

Announced for Full Gear: AEW Interim Women’s Champion Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter for the title.

AEW Rampage 10/28/22 Results

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage in Uncasville, CT:

Jon Moxley beat Matt Menard. This was supposed to have been Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta vs. Menard & Angelo Parker, but Yuta was accidentally double booked as he was already scheduled for tonight’s New Japan PPV in New York City.

Keith Lee beat Serpentico. Squash.

Tay Melo beat Madison Rayne.

AEW TNT Champion Wardlow beat Matt Taven to retain the title.

Added to next Wednesday’s Dynamite in Baltimore, MD is AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs. Marina Shafir for the title.

Next week on a LIVE Rampage in Atlantic City, NJ: Whoever is the AEW All-Atlantic Champion after Wednesday vs. an opponent of their choice for the title and Mike Tyson returns to AEW, likely to be a guest on commentary.

AEW Dynamite 10/26/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Norfolk, VA (SPOILERS for west feed viewers!):
Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta beat Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia. Castagnoli pinned Jericho after Neutralizer.

Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland beat FTR. Lee pinned Dax Harwood after a powerslam. Gunn Club interference prevented Cash Wheeler from breaking it up. As a result, Lee & Strickland are expected to get a rematch against AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed for the titles.

MJF promo with Renee Young. As always, this is appointment viewing and must be seen.

Bryan Danielson beat Sammy Guevara.

Jamie Hayter beat Riho.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley beat Penta El Zero M to retain the title. The Firm beat down Moxley afterwards, so following up on a threat to Stokely Hathaway from earlier MJF fired them because he wants Moxley at 100% at Full Gear. The Firm then beat down MJF and W. Morrissey chokeslammed MJF through a table to end the show.

Friday on a LIVE Rampage from Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, CT: Post-main event update on MJF, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta vs. 2.0, Madison Rayne vs. Tay Melo & AEW TNT Champion Wardlow vs. Matt Taven for the title.

Next week: Darby Allin vs. Jay Lethal, AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy vs. Rey Fenix & Luchasaurus in a 3-way for the title and ROH World Champion Chris Jericho vs. TBA for the title, with TBA being a former ROH World Champion (open challenge to anyone who is).

BREAKING: Top AEW Guys to NJPW in November

Breaking news via New Japan’s Japanese website: IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions FTR are headed to Japan “urgently” for the first time. They have been added to 11/5 at Osaka Prefectural Gym, while no potential opponent has been announced it sounds like it’s going to be for the titles. FTR first will try to earn a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship tomorrow on AEW Dynamite.

More as it becomes available.

AEW Rampage 10/21/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage in Jacksonville, FL at Daily’s Place:

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed beat Tony Nese & Josh Woods to retain the titles. Max Caster pinned Nese after Mic Drop. The Acclaimed gets the scissoring trademarks back.

Willow Nightingale beat Leila Grey. This was to have been Penelope Ford vs. Nightingale but Ford was injured. It seemed Jade Cargill had something to do with it. After the match, it was revealed that AEW has signed Nightingale. Cargill then came out and demanded the AEW TBS Championship belt be returned by Nyla Rose, but she instead drove off in Cargill’s rental car.

FTW Champion Hook beat Ariya Daivari to retain the title.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy beat 10 & Rush in a 3-way by pinning 10 to retain the title.

The show ended with an In Memoriam graphic for Brian Muster, AEW Lead Video Engineer. Commentary discussed his passing this week during the main event.

This was a very forgettable and skippable show unless you care for the featured wrestlers and their antics. At least watch Hook being Hook and the women’s post-match and be genuinely happy for Nightingale, she deserves the contract she just earned.

AEW Dynamite 10/18/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite from Cincinnati, OH (SPOILERS for west feed viewers!):
AEW Trios Champions Death Triangle beat Best Friends to retain the titles. Rey Fenix pinned Trent Beretta.

AEW Interim Women’s Champion Toni Storm beat Hikaru Shida to retain the title. A big post-match brawl saw Saraya fight Britt Baker and the return of Riho to make the save for Storm after a beatdown by Rebel & Jamie Hayter.

ROH World Champion Chris Jericho beat Dalton Castle to retain the title.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley beat Adam Page by doctor stoppage (injury) to retain the title. Page was legit injured at the end. Early rumors are he suffered a concussion, but he had to be stretchered out and the match was possibly cut up to 10 minutes short.

With unexpected TV time remaining, a Moxley promo led to MJF cashing in his “Money In The Bank” casino chip for a title shot anytime, anywhere…which will be at the upcoming Full Gear PPV on November 19.

Friday on a LIVE Rampage: AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed vs. Tony Nese & Josh Woods for the titles and The Acclaimed’s trademarks around scissoring, Penelope Ford vs. Willow NIghtingale, 10 vs. Rush and FTW Champion Hook vs. Ariya Daivari for the title.

Next week: FTR vs. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland for the #1 contender’s spot for the AEW Tag Team Championship, Riho vs. Jamie Hayter, Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia vs. Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara. Dynamite will be back at regular time next Wednesday unless there is a baseball pre-emption, and that will only happen if the American League Championship Series goes the full 7 games-if it does, Game 7 is next Wednesday night on TBS. Because Game 6 would be the night before, a Game 7 likely would mean Dynamite would have to air on a tape delay.
