All-Japan began the 2025 Champions Carnival, the promotion’s annual singles tournament, today in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. The event will also be broadcast on GAORA SPORTS in Japan at a later date.

The announced paid attendance was 1105.

Champions Carnival Block B:
Match 1: Ryuki Honda beat Rei Saito.
Match 2: Yuma Anzai beat Hokuto Onori.
Match 3: Mike D. Vecchio beat Aigle Blanc.
Match 4: Madoka Kikuta (Dragon Gate) beat Yuma Aoyagi.

UPDATE: It has been announced that the postponed All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Championship match between MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka, which had to be called off last-minute due to a MUSASHI injury/illness, has been rescheduled for 5/18 at Ota City General Gym, which is the date of the Champions Carnival Finals.

Sometimes the puns are…yeah…but might be accurate as All-Japan announced Cyrus is now out of action. The always-vague poor health. Out Saturday and, because he can’t travel to Japan as a result, out of the Champions Carnival. He was to have been in a battle royal Saturday. No replacement. For the Champions Carnival, replacement TBA.

All-Japan wrapped up the Dream Power Series 2025 today with a big event in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. This was also a live Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan.

The announced paid attendance was 2098.

There was a late change to the card due to All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Champion MUSASHI being forced off the card yesterday due to acute gastroenteritis. His scheduled title defense against Seiki Yoshioka was POSTPONED and will happen at a later date. Also, a planned battle royal for the event was cancelled.

Match 1: Dan Tamura, Ryo Inoue & Seiki Yoshioka beat Atsuki Aoyagi, Taishin Nagao & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan. Yoshioka pinned Nagao after Top Of The Second Class.

Match 2: Suwama beat Seigo Tachibana.

Match 3: Yuko Miyamoto & Fuminori Abe beat Naruki Doi & Senor Saito. Miyamoto pinned Saito after a moonsault press.

Match 4: Shotaro Ashino, Ryuki Honda, Madoka Kikuta (Dragon Gate) & Xyon beat Rei Saito, Hideki Suzuki, Ren Ayabe & Kumaarashi. Kikuta pinned Kumaarashi after a rolling lariat.

UPDATE: All-Japan has now announced another change for Saturday-MUSASHI is now off. Acute gastroenteritis. He was to have defended the All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Seiki Yoshioka. That match will be POSTPONED to a later date. The first match has been changed from a tag match to a 6-man tag with Yoshioka and Kuroshio TOKYO Japan added and Yuma Aoyagi & Davey Boy Smith Jr. have been removed from a planned battle royal and will now face each other in a single match instead.

All-Japan today holds NEW AGE CHRONICLE Z 6, the latest event in the series of Rising Hayato Produced events focused on younger & less experienced wrestlers (those with less than 10 years experience). The series has been very successful so far despite some hints the prior events would have been it, and it’s back for another installment today. In addition to the All-Japan roster members meeting the under-10-years-experience criteria, several independent wrestlers will be part of today’s event as well. The main event will be the 4 members of Hayato’s ELPIDA faction facing off in a 4-way.

Today’s event will be held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV. You will also be able to watch the first 2 matches-FOR FREE on YouTube. The event is a legit advance sellout. There will be no commentary. With only 5 matches and short ones at that it won’t be a long event despite there being an intermission, so anticipate the whole thing running just under 2 hours.

All-Japan continued the Dream Power Series 2024 today in Okinawa with an event featuring 2 title matches.

Today’s event was held at Okinawa Prefectural Budokan in Okinawa and will be available on demand on AJPW.TV at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 1650.

Match 1: Atsuki Aoyagi beat Taishin Nagao.

Match 2: Shotaro Ashino, MUSASHI, Churoumi Saver & Tearan Seoser beat Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, ATM, Dingo & Shuri Joe. Ashino pinned Dingo with a German suplex hold. The two unknown/lesser known wrestlers on each team are Okinawa-based independent wrestlers, likely from Okinawa Pro.

Match 3: All-Japan AJPW.TV 6-Man Tag Team Champions Yuma Aoyagi, Fuminori Abe & Hikaru Sato beat Hokuto Omori, Aizawa No. 1 & Mitsuhisa Sunabe to retain the titles. Aoyagi pinned Aizawa after Endgame. V3 for the champs.

Match 4: Kento Miyahara beat Shisa Mask (Okinawa Pro).

All-Japan kicks off the Dream Power Series 2025 today in Tokyo, the first event of their 3-event March series. This qualifies as a major event on paper with 3 title matches making up half the scheduled card, headlined by Jun & Rei Saito defending the All-Japan World Tag Team Championships against eternal title challengers Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi. The Saitos are going for a 9th defense while the challengers look to become the landmark 100th champions. In the semifinal, familiar pain-in-the-side Seigo Tachibana tries again for another title, this time challenging MUSASHI for the All-Japan World Junior Heavyweight Championship instead of his usual GAORA TV Championship pursuit. Speaking of GAORA TV Championship, it will open the event when Yuko Miyamoto defends the title against Naruki Doi, who considers himself one of the Saitos when competing in All-Japan.

The event will start earlier than planned as there will be a memorial ceremony and 10 bell salute for Osamu Nishimura, a former All-Japan wrestler who died this past week, before the event begins. Nishimura still competed a couple times a year in All-Japan as his political commitments/schedule allowed. The ceremony is scheduld to begin 10 minutes prior to the event.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV in Japanese. The event will air on GAORA SPORTS in Japan at a later date. Based on the TV broadcast schedule for the event, I anticipate this being a “typical” Korakuen event with a running time in the range of 2 1/2-3 hours. That includes an intermission at the halfway point.

Today’s event was held at Esforta Arena Hachioji in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. The event will also be replayed in Japan on GAORA SPORTS at a later date.

The announced paid attendance was 1870.

A memorial ceremony for former wrestler Gran Hamada, who died last week, was held before the event began.

Match 1: Kento Miyahara & Taishin Nagao beat Naruki Doi & Senor Saito. Miyahara pinned Saio with a shutdown suplex hold.

Match 2: Ryuki Honda, Ren Ayabe & Seigo Tachibana beat Hokuto Omori, Kumaarashi & Jack Kennedy. Ayabe pinned Omori after Des Roulette.
