Dragon Gate held their last house show today before they head back to Kobe for Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival weekend.

There were several last-minute changes to the card due to no Shun Skywalker. Knee injury.

Injury Report: Less Skywalking For Now

Dragon Gate has announced an injury change to tomorrow’s event, and if it lingers it’s significant for next weekend-Shun Skywalker is now off. Right knee. Status uncertain beyond tomorrow. This is very significant because he is supposed to face Open The Dream Gate Champion YAMATO for the title Sunday at Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival, Dragon Gate’s biggest annual event. We’ll see what happens.

In other news, apparently Osaka Prefectural Gym, which is also known in Japan as Edion Arena Osaka, is either closed or will soon be closing temporarily for repairs, which is forcing a change of plans for THE GATE OF DESTINY 2025, their major November event there at the start of November. It has now been moved to the smaller Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 and will now take place over 2 days, November 2 & 3. Tickets had not yet gone on sale so no need for refunds-the current on-sale date is 7/20.
