Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025, Dragon Gate’s biggest event of the year, is now in the books.
Today’s event was held at Kobe World Hall in Kobe and can be watched on demand on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. This was a live PPV and tape-delayed GAORA SPORTS broadcast in Japan.

Match 1: BxB Hulk, Susumu Yokosuka & Kagetora beat Ryu Fuda, Daiki Yanagiuchi & Akihiro Sahara. Yokosuka pinned Sahara after Yokosuka Cutter.
Match 2: Ultimo Dragon, Don Fujii, Yasushi Kanda & Shachihoko BOY beat Ho Ho Lun, Ho Ri, Reach Tominaga & Problem Dragon. Dragon pinned Tominaga with La Magistral.
Match 3: GAORA TV Champion Takashi beat Naruki Doi, Kzy, Masaaki Mochizuki & KAI in a 5-way by pinning KAI to retain the title. V1 for Takashi.
Match 4: In a No DQ match, Madoka Kikuta beat Strong Machine J by ref stoppage (TKO).
Match 5: Ryoya Tanaka beat Open The Brave Gate Champion U-T to win the title. Tanaka becomes the 55th Open The Brave Gate Champion.
Match 6: Hiroshi Tanahashi (New Japan) & Dragon Kid beat Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia. Tanahashi pinned Yoshioka after High Fly Flow.
Match 7: In an Elimination Match, Open The Triangle Gate Champions ISHIN, Yoshiki Kato & Homare beat Luis Mante, Flamita & Bendito and Riiita, JACKY KAMEI & Mochizuki Junior in a 3-way, when ISHIN beat Junior, then Luis Mante, Flamite & Bendito beat Open The Triangle Gate Champions ISHIN, Yoshiki Kato & Homare, when Flamita pinned Kato, to win the titles. Mante, Flamita & Bendito become the 94th Open The Triangle Gate Champions.
Match 8: Open The Twin Gate Champions Jason Lee & Kota Minoura beat Hyo & Ben-K to retain the titles. Minoura pinned Hyo after Golden Rose. V3 for the champs.
Main Event: Shun Skywalker beat Open The Dream Gate Champion YAMATO to win the title. Skywalker becomes the 41st Open The Dream Gate Champion. 3rd reign to be, ending YAMATO’s 6th reign as just short of a year and after 8 successful defenses. And despite losing the Open The Triangle Gate Championship today, it means Z-Brats now all but rule Dragon Gate. (YAMATO’s reign, impressive as it had been, was not close to record-setting. The longest reign to date by length is almost 19 months and the successful defense record is 15, both held by CIMA in the same reign)
The next event is Saturday at Sankei Hall Suzuka in Mie. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.
UPDATE: The first challenger for Slywalker is set: Kikuta. That match will happen on 8/17 at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo.
