The next event is tomorrow at Sasebo City Gym& Culture Center in Nagasaki. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.

In other news, 2 new matches for Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025 and a change to one already set match were announced today: The change first-the Open The Triangle Gate Championship match that was champions ISHIN, Yoshiki Kato & Homare vs. Luis Mante, Bendito & Flamita for the titles is now a 3-way as JACKY KAMEI, Riiita & Mochizuki Junior have been added. The new matches added today are Open The Twin Gate Champions Jason Lee & Kota Minoura vs. Ben-K & Hyo for the titles and Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia vs. Dragon Kid & TBA. That makes 4 matches so far with probably at least 3 more to come (I expect an Open The Brave Gate Championship match and, with today’s results in All-Japan, possibly a GAORA TV Championship match as Takashi won the title).

Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling 6/15/25 LIVE Results (Event 1)

Dragon Gate runs their regular monthly doubleheader today, which is a same-day doubleheader in Fukuoka. Both are standard house shows as the second event marks the halfway point of a run of 5 events in 4 days, then they’ll take a few days off before this month’s PRIME ZONE+ taping and weekend events the rest of the month before picking up the pace again before Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025. The main event will continue the current Paradox vs. Z-Brats rivalry ahead of the Open The Dream Gate Championship match between Shun Skywalker & YAMATO next month. This post will have live results from the first of 2 events today.

Today’s events will be held at Acros Fukuoka in Fukuoka and can be watched LIVE on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. There will be no commentary on the main stream but also an alternate stream with wrestler commentary. You will also be able to watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube. Yesterday’s event ran a bit longer than I anticipated, in part due to a 20 minute intermission, but I wouldn’t expect the same today due to event start times. The first event should run just over 2 hours, maybe closer to 2 1/2 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Stromg Machine J, Kzy & U-T vs. Ben-K, Hyo & Mochizuki Junior
Ultimo Dragon & Genki Horiguchi vs. Jason Lee & Yoshiki Kato
Ryoya Tanaka vs. Bendito (Cancelled last-second, see notes below)
Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia vs. Shun Skywalker & Homare
JACKY KAMEI & Riiita vs. Flamita & Luis Mante
YAMATO, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura, KAI & ISHIN

Updates below will begin at 9 PM PT/midnight ET. The broadcast is scheduled to begin 15 minutes prior to the event. (The second event is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET)

8:45 PM PT UPDATE: The broadcast has begun so live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Acros Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan. There is no commentary. The wrestler commentary will begin with the first match.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The crowd is still filing in and I can only see opposite hard camera which has a few people. I think the venue’s max capacity is in the 650-700 range but they normally set up for around 500. The second show usually draws a little more in these doubleheaders, I’ll make an initial first show guess of around 400. (After seeing the crowd as the first match ended it looked pretty full so I’m gonna up my estimate to 500) (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 439)

The matches should begin in 20-25 minutes.

The matches begin at 9:08 PM PT/12:08 AM ET.

Match 1: Strong Machine J, Kzy & U-T vs. Ben-K, Hyo & Mochizuki Junior. 15 minute time limit
Result: Ben-K, Hyo & Mochizuki Junior beat Strong Machine J. Kzy & U-T. Ben-K pinned Kzy after a spear.

Match 2: Ultimo Dragon & Genki Horiguchi vs. Jason Lee & Yoshiki Kato. 15 minute time limit
Result: Ultimo Dragon & Genki Horiguchi beat Jason Lee & Yoshiki Kato by DQ. Kato DQ’d. Ref assault.

Match 3: Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia vs. Shun Skywalker & Homare. 30 minute time limit
Result: Shun Skywalker & Homare beat Yuki Yohsioka & Dragon Dia. Skywalker pinned Yoshioka.

Intermission.

The matches resume at 10:15 PM PT/1:15 AM ET. I’m not sure what happened to change plans but it sounds like the Ryoya Tanaka-Bendito match today is off because we’re going to the semifinal match next. (Edit: Based on the intros for the next match and a pre-first match promo with appeal made to and decision granted by GM Ryo Saito, what was to have been a tag match is now a 6-man tag with Tanaka & Bendito added, thus the Tanaka-Bendito match is now off)

Match 4: JACKY KAMEI, Ryoya Tanaka & Riiita vs. Flamita, Bendito & Luis Mante. 30 minute time limit
Result: JACKY KAMEI, Ryoya Tanaka & Riiita beat Flamita, Bendito & Luis Mante. Tanaka pinned Flamita. ISHIN interference right before the end set it up (threw a chair at Flamita while on the top rope).

Main Event: YAMATO, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura, KAI & ISHIN. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Madoka Kikura, Kota Minoura, KAI & ISHIN beat YAMATO, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk & Susumu Yokosuka. Kikuta pinned Kid after a rolling lariat.

The second event is coming up shortly. Live streaming on DRAGONGATE NETWORK will begin at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET.

Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling 6/14/25 LIVE Results (Updated)

With only one month left until Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025, the promotion’s biggest event of the year, Dragon Gate continues the Rainbow Gate 2025 Tour today and the road to their signature blowout event starting today with a very busy weekend ahead. The first stop is Kyoto for a lunchtime matinee event that will continue the build that began in Tokyo last week, but from more of the signature faction warfare point ahead of next month’s Open The Dream Gate Championship match between YAMATO & Shun Skywalker. There’s even a rumor Skywalker may leave Dragon Gate if he can’t win the title. They’re not on opposite sides today but YAMATO & his Paradox faction still have to deal with those pesky Z-Brats today and probably throughout a busy several days for the promotion. This is also the uncommon live broadcast event that is at a convenient weekend time for fans in the US and also from one of the most scenic small venues in pro wrestling.

Today’s event will be held at Kyoto KBS Hall in Kyoto and can be watched LIVE on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. There will be no commentary on the main broadcast but an alternate broadcast with rotating wrestler commentary (different each match) will also be available. There are 6 matches scheduled so how long the event will run may depend on whether or not there is an intermission but probably will be a little over 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Dragon Dia & Ryoya Tanaka vs. Kzy & U-T
Ultimo Dragon & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Luis Mante & Bendito
Hyo, JACKY KAMEI & Riiita vs. Shun Skywalker, KAI & Homare
Yuki Yoshioka vs. Ben-K
Strong Machine J & Flamita vs. ISHIN & Yoshiki Kato
YAMATO, Dragon Kid & BxB Hulk vs. Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura & Jason Lee

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 9 PM PT/midnight ET. The broadcast is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

8:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We can see the magnificent stained glass wall inside Kyoto KBS Hall that makes for a very picturesque backdrop on the hard camera view.

8:57 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Kyoto KBS Hall in Kyoto, Japan. There is no commentary. The alternate wrestler commentary will start with the first match.

The paid attendance will be announced sometime after the event. Usually the venue is set up for between 450-600 for wrestling, I can’t see beyond the front row except opposite hard camera so it’s hard to really predict accurately. I’ll guess it’ll be around 350. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 285)

The matches should begin in 10-15 minutes.

The matches begin at 9:05 PM PT/12:05 AM ET.

Pre-show Exhibition Match: A match between two apparent new trainees (couldn’t hear their names) went to a 5 minute time limit draw. (Per Dragon Gate’s official English language Twitter, the trainees are Ryota Sugihara and Kazuma Kimura, both 23 and the “Dragon Gate Future” Class of 2025)

The actual scheduled matches begin at 9:15 PM PT.

Match 1: Dragon Dia & Ryoya Tanaka vs. Kzy & U-T. 15 minute time limit
Result: Time Limit Draw

Match 2: Ultimo Dragon & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Luis Mante & Bendito. 15 minute time limit
Result: Luis Mante & Bendito beat Ultimo Dragon & Susumu Yokosuka. Mante pinned Yokosuka.

Match 3: Hyo, JACKY KAMEI & Riiita vs. Shun Skywalker, KAI & Homare. 20 minute time limit
Result: Shun Skywalker, KAI & Homare beat Hyo, JACKY KAMEI & Riiita. Skywalker pinned KAMEI after SSW.

Match 4: Yuki Yoshioka vs. Ben-K. 30 minute time limit
Result: Ben-K beat Yuki Yoshioka. Ben-K was given a sponsor prize afterwards followed by a related promo.

Intermission.

The matches resume at 10:57 PM PT/1:57 AM ET (20 minute break). First is a talk segment with one of the ring announcers & Susumu Yokosuka. Also some kind of giveaway for some lucky fans (this may be related to a promotion for new DRAGONGATE NETWORK subscribers).

Match 5: Strong Machine J & Flamita vs. ISHIN & Yoshiki Kato. 30 minute time limit
Result: Strong Machine J & Flamita beat ISHIN & Yoshiki Kato. Flamita pinned Kato after a 450 splash. After a ref bump Flamita was briefly unmasked and it broke down until Mante & Bendito made the save. Afterwards, Mante with microphone. Challenge issued to Z-Brats for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship with Bendito & Flamita. After ISHIN seemingly accepts GM Ryo Saito enters the ring and makes it official. Only question is when. Based on what the wrestler commentary was saying, it sounds like Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025. (UPDATE: It’s now official for Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025)

Main Event: YAMATO, Dragon Kid & BxB Hulk vs. Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura & Jason Lee. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura & Jason Lee beat YAMATO, Dragon Kid & BxB Hulk. Kikuta pinned Hulk after a rolling lariat. Afterwards, Skywalker came out for the show-ending promo and another staredown with YAMATO as the countdown to Kobe World Hall continues.

The next event is a doubleheader tomorrow at Acros Fukuoka in Fukuoka. Live streaming on DRAGONGATE NETWORK will begin at 9 PM PT/midnight ET. Both events of the doubleheader will be live broadcasts with the second event scheduled to begin 4 hours after the first event starts.

Dragon Gate 6/5/25 Results (Updated)

Dragon Gate ran the second half of their Tokyo doubleheader today, focused more on promotional crossovers and some inter-faction warfare. And, after yesterday’s results, an inaccurate match promo graphic or two.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. You can also watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The paid attendance has not yet been announced. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1239)

Match 1: Jason Lee, KAI & Yoshiki Kato beat Strong Machine J, Kzy & U-T by DQ. J DQ’d. Dangerous weapon use. The official match graphic online incorrectly showed J & Kzy as Open The Triangle Gate Champions but they lost the titles yesterday.

Match 2: Takashi beat Hyo & Punch Tominaga in a 3-way by pinning Tominaga. This was to have been Hyo vs. Tominaga but Takashi was a late add at yesterday’s event.

Match 3: YAMATO, BxB Hulk, Susumu Yokosuka, Kagetora & Naruki Doi (Independent/Freelancer) beat Masaaki Mochizuki, Don Fujii, Ryu Fuda, Daiki Yanagiuchi & Toru Owashi (DDT). Kagetora pinned Fuda.

Match 4: In a Gold Class Contra Love&Peace Match, JACKY KAMEI & Riiita beat Ben-K & Mochizuki Junior. Riiita pinned Junior after Riiitanic. Hyo was special referee. As a result, Gold Class remains the official name of the faction and no more Love&Peace. (UPDATE: Despite this result, per Dragon Gate’s official website they are going to change the faction name to Love&Peace)

Match 5: Luis Mante 20th Anniversary Match: Luis Mante, Ultimo Dragon & Flamita beat Dtagon Bane, Alpha Wolf (Pro Wrestling NOAH) & Bendito by ref stoppage. Bane injury. Later reported to be a concussion.

Match 6: El Desperado (New Japan) & Dragon Kid beat Shun Skywalker & ISHIN. Kid pinned ISHIN after Ultra Huracanrana. Desperado & Kid were seconded by Stardom wrestler Starlight Kid (also masked).

Main Event: Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura & Homare beat Yuki Yoshioka, Dragon Dia & Ryoya Tanaka. Kikuta pinned Yoshioka after a rolling lariat.

The next event is Saturday at Espowaru Isanuma in Saitama for a doubleheader. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.

UPDATE: The Match 5 result has been updated as per Dragon Gate’s official website, Mante was declared the winner due to the ref stoppage. The Match 4 result has also been updated.

Injury Report: Dragon Ban(ish)ed (Updated)

At today’s Dragon Gate event (results coming when I can get them) it is being reported that Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Dragon Bane was injured and hospitalized after an accident during his match. Concussion per Dragon Gate’s official English Twitter. This has also been confirmed by NOAH on their website which noted a possible concussion. Out indefinitely. This bears monitoring as it could affect the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship held by Bane & Alpha Wolf.

More as it becomes available.

UPDATE: In a Twitter post in Spanish, Bane says he suffered a severe concussion but will be back in a few weeks. Also, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s official English Twitter says test results showed no issues and a return date will be determined based on recovery.

Dragon Gate 6/4/25 Results

Dragon Gate began a Tokyo doubleheader today with a blowout event featuring 4 title matches, with all but the promotion’s comedy title on the line.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. It will also be broadcast on GAORA SPORTS in Japan at a later date. You can also watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The paid attendance has not yet been announced. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1186)

Match 1: Dragon Dia, Luis Mante, Ryoya Tanaka & Yuki Yoshioka beat Ben-K, Hyo, JACKY KAMEI & Riiita. Tanaka pinned Riiita after Cross Saber.

Match 2: Ultimo Dragon, Don Fujii, Gurukun Mask & Bendito beat Toru Owashi (DDT), Problem Dragon, Punch Tominaga & Daiki Yanagiuchi. Bendito pinned Tominaga after La Bendicion.

Match 3: Shun Skywalker, Madoka Kikuta & KAI beat BxB Hulk, Susumu Yokosuka & Kagetora by ref stoppage. Skywalker beat Kagetora.

Match 4: Open The Brave Gate Champion U-T beat Mochizuki Junior to retain the title. V1 for U-T.

Match 5: ISHIN, Yoshiki Kato & Homare beat Open The Triangle Gate Champions Kzy, Strong Machine J & Flamita to win the titles. ISHIN, Kato & Homare become the 93rd Open The Triangle Gate Champions. Homare pinned J after Firebird Splash.

Match 6: Open The Twin Gate Champions Kota Minoura & Jason Lee beat Dragon Kid & Naruki Doi to retain the titles. Minoura pinned Kid after Golden Rose. V2 for the champs.

Main Event: Open The Dream Gate Champion YAMATO beat Masaaki Mochizuki by TKO (ref stoppage-towel) to retain the title. V8 for YAMATO. Next up: Skywalker. That match will happen at Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival 2025, the promotion’s biggest annual event, on 7/13 at Kobe World Hall in Kobe. For those wondering, YAMATO is now only halfway to the all-time successful defense record, which is 15. But it’s possible he could be the last obstacle to Z-Brats controlling everything as they could have all the titles after this depending on the next Brave Gate match as their ranks further grow and their leader has a chance to win the Dream Gate again.

The second event is tomorrow. Live streaming on DRAGONGATE NETWORK will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.

UPDATE: The result details for Match 3 have been edited-the result above was correct but after watching the replay it was actually a ref stoppage. Skywalker hit SSW on Kagetora and had the 3 count but at 2.99 the ref stopped counting to check on Kagetora, who appeared to be knocked out. No response so the ref called the match off as it looked like Kagetora was legit KO’d. He had to be carried to the back by Yokosuka and GM Ryo Saito and oculdn’t even roll out of the ring on his own. As of right now Kagetora is still on tomorrow’s event (in a 10-man tag) but we’ll see if this changes last-minute. There has been one change already-what was to have been a match of Hyo vs. Punch Tominaga is now a 3-way with Takashi added.

News: Wrestler Name Change Announced

In a brief news post earlier today, Dragon Gate announced Takashi Yoshida, fka Cyber Kong, has changed his name and will compete as just his first name, Takashi, going forward. He has been competing more outside Dragon Gate recently, namely in All-Japan as now part of Hokuto Omori’s faction and occasional DDT participation.
