Match 1: Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb beat DOUKI & Taichi. Khan beat DOUKI with Subaru Sheep Killer.

Match 2: Yoh, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto beat Gedo, KENTA & David Finlay. Yoh pinned Gedo after Torras Kick.

Match 3: Sho, Yujiro Takahashi & EVIL beat BUSHI, Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito. EVIL pinned BUSHI after EVIL.

Match 4: HENARE & Will Ospreay beat Togi Makabe & El Phantasmo. HENARE pinned Makabe after Streets Of Rage.

Match 1: Block D: Alex Coughlin beat Hiroshi Tanahashi. UPSET ALERT!!!

Match 2: Block C: Mikey Nicholls beat EVIL.

Match 3: Block D: Toru Yano beat Shane Haste.

Match 4: Block C: HENARE beat Tomohiro Ishii.

Match 5: Block D: Hirooki Goto beat Jeff Cobb.

With one match left, 5 still have a chance to advance in Block C (top 2 move on). Nicholls, HENARE & Ishii are out. Here’s how it will play out on their final day: The Finlay-Kingston winner advances. If EVIL beats Takagi, EVIL advances. If Takagi beats EVIL, he needs a Tonga loss or draw to advance. If Takagi and Tonga both win, they will need a tiebreaker because their head-to-head result was a draw. Tonga needs a win and Takagi-EVIL to be a Double DQ or no contest to advance (something that means no points for both). Now if Finlay-Kingston is a draw, blow everything up because it then gets too complicated. In Block D, Cobb, Sabre & Naito are tied for the lead but there is serious final day chaos potential. Let’s start with simple-Cobb advances if he beats Haste. Naito advances if he beats Tanahashi. Sabre must beat Goto AND Cobb or Naito must lose or draw (Sabre lost to both Cobb & Naito). Yano, Haste & Coughlin are out. Tanahashi & Goto need miracles and can also blow up everything.

All matches were G1 CLIMAX matches, 20 minute time limit.

Match 1: Block A: Hikuleo beat Kaito Kiyomiya.

Match 2: Block B: Great-O-Khan beat YOSHI-HASHI.

Match 3: Block A: Ren Narita beat Chase Owens by submission.

Match 4: Block B: El Phantasmo beat Taichi.

Match 5: Block A: SANADA beat Gabriel Kidd. As a result, SANADA wins Block A.

Match 6: Block B: Tanga Loa beat Will Ospreay by countout.

Match 7: Block A: Yota Tsuji beat Shota Umino.

Main Event: Block B: Kauzchika Okada beat KENTA. As a result, Okada clinches a top 2 spot on Block B and advances to the Quarterfinals.

With one match left, SANADA will win Block A but 2nd is completely up for grabs-mathematically everyone still has a chance but the final matchups all but eliminate Owens & Narita as they are on 2-4, 4 points and second place currently is 3-3, 6 points. In Block B, Okada will advance while Ospreay only needs to beat or draw against Phantasmo to advance. Loa, Phantasmo & Taichi all still have a chance. KENTA, YOSHI-HASHI & Khan are now out.

Match 1: Block C: David Finlay beat HENARE.

Match 2: Block D: Toru Yano beat Jeff Cobb. Flash win (it cheats aka red mist).

Match 3: Block C: Eddie Kingston beat Mikey Nicholls.

Match 4: Block D: Tetsuya Naito beat Alex Coughlin.

Match 5: Block C: EVIL beat Tomohiro Ishii.

In Block C. EVIL & Finlay are tied at the top at 4-1, 8 points with 2 matches left. Nicholls & HENARE are now out of contention. The draw today really hurt Takagi, but he still is in it because his last 2 matches are Finlay & EVIL. Finlay’s other remaining match is Kingston, while EVIL’s other match is Nicholls. Kingston still has a chance too, his remaining matches are Finlay & HENARE. In Block D, Cobb & Sabre are tied at 4-1, 8 points, with Tanahashi & Naito 2 points back and still in it. Haste & Goto are on life support with tiebreakers their only hope, Goto has the better chance there because Sabre & Cobb are his remaining 2 opponents. Haste has Cobb & Yano. Despite a win today Yano is out of it as is Coughlin. Tanahashi next has Coughlin and Naito gets Sabre before they face off in their final match, a potential eliminator for 2nd and advancement.

The announced paid attendance was 1472, a legit sellout. Also about the same as yesterday which is good.
