Ganbare Pro Wrestling “Ganbare Joshi Re-Launch” Results (4/1/23) (Updated)

Ganbare Pro re-launches their Ganbare Joshi sub-label today with a small debut event featuring 4 matches. The launch is somewhat muted by the absence of top star Yuna Manase, who is out long-term due to injuries, but she may be in attendance and her younger sister Ami will debut as part of today’s event. There will also be a short exhibition match and a match provided by Chocolate Pro Wrestling (All Elite Wrestling star Emi Sakura’s currently owned promotion. The other handful of Ganbare regulars will be part of the event too except for HARUKAZE as will be former Tokyo Joshi Pro star Marika Kobashi, who has been working mainly as a freelancer since returning from a post-TJPW hiatus.

Today’s event will be held at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There likely will be no commentary. With only 4 matches and one being a quick exhibition match this will be a very short event and an easy watch, I anticipate the event’s running time will only be about an hour. Even if all the matches go the distance it’ll be over in well under 2 hours. (Including the post-main event promo it wound up running about 80 minutes)

Today’s lineup (in order):
Exhibition Match (5 Minutes): Reala vs. Moeka Haruhi
Chocolate Pro Wrestling Provided Match: Sayaka Obihiro vs. Chie Koishikawa
Ami Manase & Moeka Haruhi vs. Echika Miyabi & Marika Kobashi
YuuRI vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa
