Pro Wrestling NOAH 12/23/2025 Results (Updated)

Pro Wrestling NOAH wrapped up their 2025 today with their final event of the year, PRO WRESTLING NOAH THANKSGIVING 2025.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 1492, a super full house/very near sellout. Maybe a legit sellout as only a few same-day tickets were left prior to today.

Match 1: Will Kroos, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Saxon Huxley, Shuji Kondo & Eita. Kroos pinned Eita after a frog splash.

Match 2: Tadasuke & Jun Masaoka (Independent/Freelancer) beat Atsushi Kotofe & Hajime Ohara. Tadasuke beat Kotoge with a cross lock.

Match 3: Kazuyuki Fujita won a 12 man battle royal, last eliminating Manabu Soya. Order of elimination: Yuto Koyanagi, Mohammed Yone, Ulka Sasaki, Daga, HAYATA, Harutoki, Junta Miyawaki, Hi69, Shuhei Taniguchi, Black Menso-re, Soya.

Matxh 4: Naomichi Marufuji & Kenoh beat Hiroto Tauruya & Midori Takahashi. Kenoh beat Takahashi with Kenoh Special.

Match 5: Hiromu Takahashi & Daiki Nagai (New Japan) beat AMAKUSA & Daiki Odashima. Takahashi pinned AMAKUSA after Time Bomb.

Match 6: Takashi Sugiura 25th Anniversary Match: Takashi Sugiura beat KENTA.

Main Event: OZAWA, Masa Kitamiya & Tadasuke beat Yoshiki Inamura, Kaito Kiyomiya & Tetsuya Endo. OZAWA pinned Endo after Real Rebel. This originally was to have been Inamura & Kitamiya vs. Kiyomiya & Endo but OZAWA was a surprise last-second addition to the match as was Tadasuke. It also marks OZAWA’s official return from injury.

The next event, the first of 2026, is NOAH THE NEW YEAR 2026 on 1/1 at Nippon Budokan. Live streaming ONLY IN JAPAN ON ABEMA will begin on 12/31 at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET. There is no live WRESTLE UNIVERSE broadcast so set up and test your VPNs now so you can get ABEMA if you are outside Japan (the event should be a free broadcast even though ABEMA is mow offering a limited version of WRESTLE UNIVERSE as a paid option-it will only include select live events, no on demand). It also likely won’t be on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE right away-you may have to wait a week or two.

After 4 long, full years that helped steer the promotion through the pandemic and recovery, Pro Wrestling NOSH finally ended the seemingly-never-ending SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today with the last event.

Today’s event was held at Act City Hamamatsu in Shizuoka and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE tomorrow night (early Tuesday AM on the US east coast). There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 278.

Match 1: Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Hiroto Tsuruya & Yuto Koyanagi. Fujimura pinned Koyanagi.

Match 2: Mohammed Yone beat Black Menso-re.

Match 3: Shuji Kondo, Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69 beat Daga, Daiki Odashima & Midori Takahashi. Kotoge beat Takahashi with a Texas cloverleaf.

Match 4: Naomichi Marufuji, Kenoh & AMAKUSA beat Manabu Soya, Saxon Hucley & Junta Miyawaki. Kenoh pinned Miyawaki after a round fist.

Match 5: Yoshiki Inamura & Will Kroos beat Kaito Kiyomiya & Harutoki. Inamura pinned Harutoki after DIS Charge.

Main Event: Ulka Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & HAYATA beat Masa Kitamiya, Takashi Sugiura & Tadasuke. Sasaki beat Tadasuke with Nameless Joint Technique.

The final event of 2025 is Pro Wrestling NOAH THANKSGIVING 2025 on Tuesday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET.

Pro Wrestling NOAH ran the penultimate event of the SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today in Osaka.

Today’s event was held at 176BOX in Osaka and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Monday. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 292.

Match 1: Daiki Odashima & Hiroto Tsuruya beat Yuto Koyanagi & Midori Takahashi. Odashoma pinned Takahashi after Dead End.

Match 2: AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki beat Alejandro & Back Menso-re. Miyawaki pinned Menso-re with a sunshine suplex hold.

Match 3: Manabu Soya & Saxon Huxley beat Kaito Kiyomiya & Harutoki. Huxley pinned Harutoki after a neck hanging bomb.

Match 4: Naomichi Marufuji, Kenoh, Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69 beat Ulka Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, HAYATA & Yuto Kikuchi. Marufuji pinned Kikuchi after a round fist.

Match 5: Eita beat Kai Fujimura.

News: 2025 PWI Tag Team 100 Announced (SPOILERS!)

The last of what is now a year-end awards trilogy from Pro Wrestling Illustrated came out today, as we go down from 500 (wrestlers) to 250 (women) and now 100 (tag teams). The second PWI Tag Team 100 list was revealed today and features both men’s and women’s teams. Naturally I’ve browsed the list already so below are the top ranked teams and how various Japan-based teams fared.

Today’s event was held at Hodogaya Public Hall in Kanagawa and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Friday. There was no live broadcast.

Match 1: Ulka Sasaki & Hajime Ohara beat Hiroto Tsuruya & Midpri Takahashi. Ohara beat Takahashi with a Boston crab.

Match 2: Tetsuya Endo & HAYATA beat Shuhei Taniguchi & Black Menso-re. HAYATA beat Menso-re with an armbar.

Match 3: Masa Kitamiya, Takashi Sugiura, Tadasuke & Jun Masaoka (Independent/Freelancer) beat Kazuyuki Fujita, Mohammed Yone, Daiki Odashima & Yuto Koyanagi. Kitamiya pinned Koyanagi after Saito Suplex.

Match 4: AMAKUSA beat Hi69.

DEVELOPING: Tokyo Sports Award Winners Announced

Tokyo Sports has announced their annual Pro Wrestling Award winners for 2025 on social media. Here are the winners:
MVP (top prize): Saya Kamitani, Stardom (First time ever a woman has won)
Match Of The Year: Kaito Kiyomiya vs. OZAWA, Pro Wrestling NOAH, 1/1/2025
Best Tag Team: OSKAR (The Grouch) & Yuto Ice (Ice Baby), New Japan
Special Achievement Award: Konosuke Takeshita, New Japan/DDT/All Elite Wrestling
Fighting Spirit Award: Sareee, Independent/Freelancer
Technique Prize: Hiroshi Tanahashi, New Japan
Women’s Grand Prize: Kamitani
Rookie Of The Year: Kaisei Takechi, DDT

Quick thoughts on the MVP: In my eyes there were only two real right choices-Kamitani and Takeshita. Either was a right choice but they nicely chose to recognize 2025 as the year of our PHENEX QUEEN in Stardom, and she undoubtedly was the top Japanese women’s wrestler in Japan (not counting the obvious ones that are on WWE or AEW full-time), but you can’t overlook everything Takeshita has accomplished between Japan and the US, that said his not being in Japan as much could have shifted the balance towards Kamitani but that Special Achievement for Takeshita is well-deserved. Rookie is a toss-up, Takechi no doubt was the most popular and with the biggest impact on DDT but one can only wonder what could have been had we not lost All-Japan rookie Taishin Nagao.

Today’s event was held at Volfert Toyama in Toyama and should be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 235.

Match 1: Tetsuya Endo beat Midori Takahashi.

Match 2; AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki beat Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69. AMAKUSA pinned Kotoge.

Pro Wrestling NOAH continued the finally-winding-down SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today in Nagoya.

Today’s event was held at Lives Nagoya in Nagoya and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 332.

Match 1; HAYATA beat Yuto Koyanagi by submission.

Match 2: Eita & Shuji Kondo beat Midori Takahashi & HIroto Tsuruya. Eita pinned Takahashi.

Match 2; Ulka Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo beat AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki. Saaki pinned Miyawaki.

Match 4: Kaito Kiyomiya, Harutoki, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara, Hi69 & Black Menso-re. Alejandro pinned Ohara after Zero Gravity.

Match 5: GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Daga & Daiki Odashima beat Tadasuke & Jun Masaoka to retain the titles. Daga pinned Tadasuke after 59. V1 for the champs.

Match 6: Yoshiki Inamura, Will Kroos & Kazuyuki Fujita beat Manabo Soya, Saxon Huxley & Mohammed Tone. Inamure pinned Yone after DIS Charge.

Main Event: Naomichi Marufuji & Kenoh beat GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Masa Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura to win the titles. Marufuji & Kenoh become the 75th GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. Kenoh pinned Sugiura after Maraken.

The next event is tomorrow at Volfert Toyama in Toyama. There will be no live or on demand broadcast (it’s not on the UNIVERSE schedule for on demand). (UPDATE: On their English social media account the promotion does say on demand at a later date. If they follow normal scheduling that would mean Wednesday)

UPDATE: First up for the new tag champs-BUSHI & TBA. A lot of speculation is about whether or not TBA will be Tetsuya Naito. That match will happen on 1/1 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 12/7/25 Results

Pro Wrestling NOAH held a Kaito Kiyomiya Produced 10th Anniversary event today as the current torchbearer for the promotion celebrated a decade so far in the ring. It also set the stage for the next generation with 3 new rookies beginning their careers today.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese & English. The live broadcast was English only due to being an exclusive ABEMA broadcast in Japan.

The announced paid attendance was 1290.

Match 1: Kaito Kiyomiya beat Hitoshi Kumano. This was a rematch of Kiyomiya’s debut match.

Match 2: Yuto Koyanagi Debut Match: Daiki Odashima beat Yuto Koyanagi.

Match 3: Midori Takahashi & Hiroto Tsuruya Debut Match: Hiroto Tsuruya beat Midori Takahashi.

Match 4: Kaito Kiyomiya, Harutoki, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Junta Miyawaki, Jack Morris, Naomichi Marufuji & Andy Wu. Kiyomiya pinned Miyawaki with a tiger suplex hold.

Main Event: In a 1 Hour Iron Man Match, Kenoh beat Kaito Kiyomiya 4-3. Kenoh scored the winning pinfall with 1 minute left. Kenoh took the first 2 including a countout, then Kiyomiya took the next 2 to pull even. They alternated wins before Kenoh got the clincher.

The next event is Saturday at Lives Nagoya in Nagoya with both GHC Tag Team Championships on the line. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET.

A lot of post-event news:
Los Tranquilos de Japon, made up of former New Japan wrestlers BUSHI and Tetsuya Naito among others who were formerly Los Ingobernables de Japan before BUSHI & Naito left the promotion, will be part of the 1/1 Nippon Budokan event. BUSHI participation is confirmed along with TBA who is a mystery member of the group. The obvious question is whether it’s Naito or someone else.

More New Japan participation is set for 12/23 with Hiromu Takahashi & Daiki Nagai vs. AMAKUSA & Daiki Odashima. Also set for 12/23 is a Takashi Sugiura 25th Anniversary Match of Sugiura vs. KENTA.

The Good Brothers, aka Karl Anderson & Luke/Doc Gallows, have been added to 1/1. They will face Kiyomiya & Jack Morris. Also added to 1/1 is Will Kroos vs. Saxon Huxley for the Progress Atlas Championship held by Kroos. That now makes 4 title matches so far for the year-opening blowout event.

Pro Wrestling NOAH continued the winding-down SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today in Shizuoka.

Today’s event was held at Kira Messe Numzau in Shizuoka and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Wednesday. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 309.

There were last-minute changes to the card due to Alejandro being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health.

Match 1: Daga & Daiki Odashima beat AMAKUSA & Hahime Ohara. Daga pinned Ohara after a huracanrana.

Match 2: Shuhei Taniguchi beat Naomichi Marufuji & Black Menso-re in a 3-way by pinning Menso-re.

Match 3: Atsushi Kotoge & Eita beat Mohammed Yone & Hi69. Kotoge pinned Hi69 after Kill Switch.
