Pro Wrestling NOAH continues the usually-monthly LEGACY RISE 2026 Tour (the new STAR NAVIGATION 2022-2025 Tour) with a second signature event this month and a rare weekday morning matinee (it’s a holiday in Japan), this one continuing the NOAH Jr. Tag League. The annual Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Tournament kicked off Friday and continues today with 4 round-robin format matches, so every team will have 2 matches after today is finished. A highlight match today will see Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf on opposite sides in the tournament for the first time since Wolf turned on his brother to defect to Team 2000X and take the GHC National Championship with him. This will be followed by 2 title matches-the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship will be defended as Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI look to back up their New Year NOAH Debut upset win by defending against KENTA & HAYATA. In the main event, Yoshiki Inamura looks to get one step closer to his desired GHC Heavyweight Championship defense against Kenoh but first, the Team 2000X gauntlet continues with a defense against Takashi Sugiura.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English. This is a live & exclusive ABEMA broadcast in Japan in Japanese (so we get an at-times-muted & edited version), which will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE shortly after the event ends. There are 7 matches and since the tournament matches have time limits, even with the 2 title matches it probably will have close to a “normal” Korakuen running time of around 2 1/2 hours, but I’m thinking closer to 3 hours. But It can’t go too long because there are other events at Korakuen later in the day.
Today’s lineup:
Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Harutoki & Midori Takahashi vs. Manabu Soya, Hajime Ohara, Yuto Koyanahi & Hiroto Tsuruya

6:20 PM PT UPDATE Live updates begin now.
We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Your hosts are Stewart (BANG!) Fulron & Mark Pickering.
The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It’s a legit advance sellout with standing room only tickets sold so that guarantees 1500-1550. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance, a legit advance sellout and more, was 1598)
Shinjiro Otani, who has been injured and rehabbing back/cervical spine injuries since 2022, is scheduled to appear before the matches begin. The matches should begin in 15-20 minutes.
At the start Naomichi Marufuji brings Shinjiro Otani out, in a wheelchair but seems to be in good spirits. We briefly get some Japanese commentary before English comes back on. He says despite his injury he wants to stand in the ring again and is rehabbing every day to make that happen. A promo video for his new YouTube channel is shown. He encourages everyone to subscribe of course. Otani says it’s been 4 years since he was last at Korakuen and he really misses everything about the iconic venue. He finishes with some final words of encouragement and saying he loves pro wrestling.
The matches begin at 6:43 PM PT/9:43 PM ET. Otani will be at ringside for most or all matches.

As soon as it ended, Soya came out. With microphone. Challenge issued. But he didn’t name a partner, just repeatedly saying “With Passion!” Saxon Huxley is back in England so…anyway, seemingly accepted. Updates to follow, hopefully later today or tomorrow.
