Pro Wrestling NOAH ran the 2026 debut event of MONDAY MAGIC today, kicking off the year’s first season of their serial Monday events.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Match 1: Alejandro vs. Ryoya Tanaka (Dragon Gate) went to a 10 minute time limit draw.

Match 2: Shigehiro Irie (GLEAT) & Danny Duggan beat Manabu Soya & Hiroshi Yamato (Independent/Freelancer). Digga pinned Yamato after a tombstone piledriver.

Match 3: Archie Cole, Dragon Bane & Iker Navarro beat Jack Morris, Galeno & Nathan de Wind. Cole pinned de Wing after a swanton bomb.

Match 4: Kaito Kiyomiya beat Naruki Doi (Independent/Freelancer).

Match 5: Mayu Iwatani & Miku Aono beat ZONES & ChiChi. Iwatani pinned ZONES after a moonsault press.

Main Event: Titus Alexander beat GHC Hardcore Champion HAYATA to win the title. Alexander becomes the 14th GHC Hardcore Champion. NOAH says the 4th because they do not recognize the title history prior to 2023.

Episode 2 of the new RISING SUN season is next Monday.

The next event is Saturday at Shimizu Marine Building in Shizuoka. There will be no live broadcast. On demand plans TBA.

Pro Wrestling NOAH continued the LEGACY RISE 2026 Tour yesterday in Gunma.

Yesterday’s event was held at Green Done Maebashi Sub Arena in Gunma and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Thursday (and only on UNIVERSE, the paid ABEMA add-on does not include on demand replays, only live broadcasts). There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 297.

Match 1: Eita & Harutoki beat Katsumi Inahata & Hiroto Tsuruya. Eita beat Inahata.

Match 2: AMAKUSA & Black Menso-re beat Yuto Koyanagi & Midori Takahashi. Menso-re pinned Koyanagi after Snake Boy.

Match 3: KENTA, HAYATA & Tetsuya Endo beat Manabu Soya, Mohammed Yone & Shuhei Taniguchi. HAYATA pinned Taniguchi after 403 Impact.

Match 4: In a 3-way to determine 2 participants in the upcoming NOAH Jr. Tag League, Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69 beat Hajime Obara. Kotoge won first by pinning Hi69 then Bi69 won second by pinning Ohara.

Match 5: Alejandro beat Kai Fujimura by DQ. During the match, Fujimura turned heel and became the latest to defect to Team 2000X.

Match 6: Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Daga & Daiki Odashima beat Masa Kitamiya, Takashi Sugiura, Alpha Wolf & Tadasuke. Daga pinned Wolf. Afterwards, Daga issued a GHC National Championship challenge to Wolf.

Main Event: Yoshiki Inamura, Will Kroos, Jack Morris & Dragon Bane beat Naomichi Marifuji, Kenoh, Kazuyuki Fujita & Shuji Kondo. Kroos pinned Kondo after a diving body press. Based on post-match comments, Kroos finished up his current NOAH stint today and will be returning home to Europe. He promised to come back though. And Inamura continued to build towards a desired GHC Heavyweight Championship match with Kenoh, if he ever finishes with Team 2000X.

The next event is MONDAY MAGIC RISING SUN SEASON Episode 1 Monday at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.

In other news coming out today, Daga-Wolf was quickly made official post-event. That match will happen on 1/25 at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka.

The (almost) full Jr. Tag League field was announced: Daga/Odashima, Bane/Alejandro, Kotoge/Hi69, AMAKUSA/Menso-re, Mark Trew/Kieron Lacey, Tadasuke/Jun Masaoka, Wolf/Fujimura, TBA (one team). It’s a round-robin format tournament starting on 2/6, the top 2 teams will meet in the Finals on 3/1.

Having also ended the monthly STAR NAVIGATION Tour last year that dated back tot he pandemic, Pro Wrestling NOAH ran their first monthly Tokyo tentpole event of 2026 today, LEGACY RISE 2026.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese & English. The live broadcast was English only due to being an exclusive ABEMA live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 1489, a super full house/very near sellout.

Match 5: Tetsuya Endo beat OZAWA.

Match 6: GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion AMAKUSA beat Daiki Odashima to retain the title. V1 for AMAKUSA.

Main Event: GHC Heavyweight Champion Yoshiki Inamura beat Masa Kitamiya to retain the title.V3 for Inamura. Next up: Sugiura, as it now seems Inamura must run the Team 2000X gauntlet to get to his wish of a Kenoh defense. That match will happen on 2/11.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 468, a legit advance sellout.

Match 1: Shuhei Taniguchi, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara bear Yuto Koyanagi, Hiroto Tsuruya & Midori Takahashi. Kotoge pinned Koyanagi after a bat drop.

Match 2: Takashi Sugiura, Tadasuke & Jun Masaoka beat Hatutoki, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura. Masaoka pinned Alrhandro after Ambitions.

Match 3: KENTA, HAYATA, Ulka Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo beat Jack Morris, Mohammed Yone, Eita & Hi69. Sasaki beat Hi69 with an armbar. Afterwards, Sasaki announced he was leaving the promotion, at least temporarily, to go to the US. More as it becomes available.

While it’s not the first event in Japan in the New Year, Pro Wrestling NOAH kicks off 2026 today with their annual New Year’s Day blowout event, NOAH THE NEW YEAR 2026. The main event is an interesting GHC Heavyweight Championship match between Yoshiki Inamura & OZAWA. Representing the future of the promotion, it’s a rematch of late 2022 when then-Taishi Ozawa made his debut against a much different Inamura, who was struggling to make the mid-card before beginning a pair of training excursions, most recently to WWE as part of NXT and came back with a new look, some decent English and now the top title while OZAWA recently returned from injury and teased a face turn but still seems to solidly be Team 2000X going in, we shall see. Almost every other GHC Championship will also be defended today and there’s even a title match from Europe’s Progress Wrestling to round out a massive card along with a surprise appearance in one title match-the net seems to think it could be the NOAH debut of one Tetsuya Naito and I concur, but we must wait and see…

Today’s event will be held at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English only. This is a live & exclusive ABRMA broadcast in Japan, which will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese a short time after the event (with Akitoshi Saito on commentary among others). The 9 match lineup features 6 title matches so this will be a New Year’s all-nighter/morninger depending on where you are with a predicted running time in the 4-5 hour range.

Next up: Kenoh. Ot is it? Before he could get to the ring, Masa Kitamiya laid out Kenoh. Kitamiya with microphone. He wants next and isn’t letting Inamura choose Kenoh next. Challenge accepted by Inamura. Kitamiya took the cheap shot and went for the beatdown but bailed when Inamura got the upper hand. So it looks like Kitmaiya and not Kenoh next. Updates to come.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 1492, a super full house/very near sellout. Maybe a legit sellout as only a few same-day tickets were left prior to today.

Match 1: Will Kroos, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Saxon Huxley, Shuji Kondo & Eita. Kroos pinned Eita after a frog splash.

Today’s event was held at Act City Hamamatsu in Shizuoka and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE tomorrow night (early Tuesday AM on the US east coast). There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 278.
