Match 6: Shoko Nakajima beat Mifu Ashida.

Match 7: Arisu Endo beat Pom Harajuku by submission.

Match 8: Mizuki vs. Rika Tatsumi went to a time limit draw.

Match 9: Miyu Yamashita beat Yuki Arai in 65 seconds. Ouch. Almost a glorified squash.

Main Event: Suzume, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro beat Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara. Aino pinned Kamifuku after Venus DDT.

The next event, the last of the year, is “TJPW Year-End Party 2025” Saturday at Shinjuku Face. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET.

Also forgot this in the original post-at this event the first 4 teams for the 2026 Max Heart Tournament, the promotion’s annual tag team tournament, were also announced: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara, Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi, Arisu Endo & Suzume and Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. News: 2025 PWI Tag Team 100 Announced (SPOILERS!)

The last of what is now a year-end awards trilogy from Pro Wrestling Illustrated came out today, as we go down from 500 (wrestlers) to 250 (women) and now 100 (tag teams). The second PWI Tag Team 100 list was revealed today and features both men’s and women’s teams. Naturally I’ve browsed the list already so below are the top ranked teams and how various Japan-based teams fared.

Because this is only in digital format and the print edition will not be out for another 3 weeks or so, those waiting for the latter should stop here to avoid SPOILERS! Otherwise, click below.

Here are the matches that were drawn, all will have a 7 minute time limit:

Hyper Misao vs. Ren Konatsu
Mizuki vs. Rika Tatsumi

Uta Takami vs. Chika Naase
Miyu Yamashita vs. Yuki Arai
Kaya Toribami vs. Toga

Tokyo Joshi Pro 12/13/25 Results

Continuing their worldwide expansion efforts today, Tokyo Joshi Pro made their first visit to Thailand for a joint event with new partner promotion SETUP Pro Wrestling, which is based in Thailand and first visited Japan within the past year.

Today’s event was held at The Circus Studio in Bangkok, Thailand and can be watched on demand as a PPV on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. The PPV costs 2500 Japanese yen (around $16 US) for monthly paid UNIVERSE subscribers and-I believe-3100 yen (around $20) for non-paid subscribers. You get unlimited on demand replays for the next month (until 1/13/26) with purchase.

The announced paid attendance was 372, a legit sellout. Small venue.

Match 1: Yuki Kamifuku beat Uta Takami.

Match 2: Atisu Endo & Suzume beat Yuki Arai & Shino Suzuki. Suzume pinned Suzuki after Ring A Bell.

Match 3: MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion Shoko Nakajima beat Alexis Lee to retain the title. For those curious as I don’t usually count non-Japan title defenses like this, V6 for Nakajima. Afterwards, Nakajima hinted at her next defense being in Singapore, Lee’s home country.

Match 4: IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Champions Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami beat Raku & Pom Harajuku to retain the titles. Yamashita pinned Raku after Skull Kick. V1 for the champs.

Main Event: Princess Of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe beat Matcha to retain the title. V3 for Watanabe. Next up: As previously announced, Suzume on 1/4. Had Matcha won the title she would have defended against Suzume on that day.

The next event is “Se-no, Merry Christmas! 2025” on 12/21 at Tama Mirai Messe in Tokyo. The annual Christmas event will feature one tag match and a series of 7 7-minute single matches with random pairings determined by a drawing to be conducted by former SKE48 member and occasional UNIVERSE special guest Marika Tani. It has also been announced that HIMAWARI is off this event due to schedule conflicts. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin on 12/20 at 11 PM PT/2 AM ET.

BREAKING: Absent TJPW Wrestler Retires

Tokyo Joshi Pro has provided an update on Moka Miyamoto, who has been out the last several months due to an unspecified illness which also forced her to vacate the International Princess Championship. Unfortunately it’s not the best update-Miyamoto has decided to retire. There will be no retirement ceremony/event per her request. Really sad about this because over the last couple years she was showing a lot of improvement and that title win was a huge milestone for Miyamoto, who seemed to be heading towards a Princess Of Princess Championship reign in the next year or two. I wish her all the best in the future.

(Many TJPW wrestlers past & present, as well as regular TV/WRESTLE UNIVERSE personalities Haruo Murata & Sayoko Mita, have posted memories and well-wishes to Miyamoto on social media today as well)

Tokyo Joshi Pro 12/7/25 Results (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro held a special collaboration event with Japanese idol music group OCHA NORMA today, featuring a combination of wrestling matches and live performances by the popular all-girl J-Pop group as well as Up Up Girls.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand as a PPV on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. The PPV is available for 3000 Japanese yen (around $19 US) for paid monthly UNIVERSE subscribers and 3500 yen (around $23 US) for free subscribers. Purchase includes unlimited replays for the next month and includes all music performances in addition to the matches.

The announced paid attendance was 910, a full house/near sellout. Due to the setup it was reduced capacity, it looks like they didn’t use the opposite-camera bleacher seats at all.

Up Up Girls live performance opened the event.

Match 1: HIMAWARI & Haru Kazashiro beat Arisu Endo & Uta Takami. Kazashiro beat Takami with 16 Nights (armbar variation).

Match 2: Ryo Mizunami (Independent/Freelancer), Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Mahiro Kiryu, Shino Suzuki & Chika Nanase. Mizunami pinned Nanase after a spear.

The first OCHA NORMA live performance followed the second match.

Match 3: Ochanomizu (masked mystery wrestler) & Kaya Toribami beat Wakana Uehara & Ren Konatsu. Ochanomizu pinned Konatsuwith La Ochastral.

Match 4: In a comedy game in the ring, Haru Kazashiro, Pom Harajuku & Uta Takami beat 3 members of OCHA NORMA 3-2.

Match 5: Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Mifu Ashida beat Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer. Tatsumi pinned Summer after Missile Hip.

After that match…
Mahiro Kiryu beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Rika Tatsumi to win the title. Kiryu becomes the 1787th Champion. Which led to…
Natsuki Natsuyama beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu to win the title. Natsuyama becomes the 1788th Champion. OCHA NORMA holds the belt now!

The second OCHA NORMA live performance followed before the last match.

Main Event: Mizuki, Suzume & Yuki Arai beat Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino & Toga. Suzume pinned Toga after Ring A Bell. Erika Sato was the special ring announcer.

Overall another collaboration success for TJPW and popular J-Pop groups as many TJPW wrestlers are fans of OCHA NORMA. But then something happened backstage…
A Bottle Of Tea beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Natsuki Natsuyama to win the title. Tea becomes the 1789th Champion. Considered a submission and verbally giving up the title in naturally hilarious DDT fashion. Only in DDT (and TJPW) can inanimate objects become champions. And it is awesome.

The next event is TJPW LIVE IN BANGKOK Saturday at The Circus Studio in Bangkok, Thailand. Live streaming as a(nother) PPV on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at, if I’m guessing correctly on the time, 1 AM PT/4 AM ET. The PPV is available for pre-order for 2500 yen (around $15) for monthly paid UNIVERSE subecribers and 3200 yen (around $21) for non-paid subscribers and will be available for purchase and on demand until 1/13/26. (Correction: 3 AM PT/6 AM ET will be the live start time)

UPDATE: Breaking development several hours after the event…
Mahiro Kiryu beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion A Bottle Of Tea to win the title. Kiryu becomes the 1790th Champion. Why Kiryu…

Tokyo Joshi Pro 11/24/25 Results (2 Events)

Event 1:
The announced paid attendance was 173, a full house/near sellout.

There was a last-minute change to the card due to Rika Tatsumi being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health. She was to have faced Mahiro Kiryu. Miu Watanabe was the replacement.

Since Up Up Girls are split between the events, the first event opened with a Uta Takami solo performance.

Match 1: Kaya Toribami beat Chika Nanase.

Match 2; Hyper Misao beat HIMAWARI.

Match 3: Arisu Endo beat Kira Summer by submission.

Match 4: Miu Watanabe beat Mahiro Kiryu.

Main event: Yuki Kamifuku & Yuki Aino beat Yuki Arai & Uta Takami. Aino pinned Takami after Venus DDT.

Event 2:

Shino Suzuki solo for Up Up Girls.

Match 1: Raku beat Ren Konatsu by submission.

Match 2: Wakana Uehara beat Mifu Ashida.

Match 3: Mizuki beat Shino Suzuki by submission.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe & Toga beat Suzume & Haru Kazashiro. Watanabe pinned Kazashiro after Teardrop.

The next event is Saturday at Osaka Azalea Taisho in Osaka. There will be no live broadcast.

Match 5: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Yuki Aino & Chika Nanase. Uehara pinned Nanase after Sushi Tornado.

Main Event: Shoko Nkajima & HIMAWARI beat Miu Watanabe & Uta Takami. Nakajima pinned Takami with a Northern Lights suplex hold. So much for the hometown girl getting the main event win as tends to be the case.

The next event is a doubleheader Monday (tomorrow night US time) at Itabashi Green Hall in Tokyo. There will be no live broadcasts. On demand Thursday for the first event and Friday for the second event.

In other news, the promotion announced the next challenger for the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship held by Nakajima will be Alexis Lee. That match will happen on 12/13 in Bangkok, Thailand. Also announced for that event is IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Champions Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Raku & Pom Harajuku for the titles.

Today’s event was held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 247, a full house/near sellout.

No Up Up Girls today so Chika Nanase did the opening start call.

Match 1: Kaya Toribami beat Toga.

Match 2: Rika Tatsumi beat Gabai Ji-Chan.

Match 3: Mizuki & Yuki Aino beat Raku & HIMAWARI. Mizuki pinned Raku with Cutie Special.
