Today’s event was held at Fukuchiyama City Sandanike Park General Gym Sub Arena in Kyoto and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday. There was no live broadcast

The pre-event festivities included a performance by a youth cheerleading group that Ashida was a member of in her school days.

Purchase also includes on demand replays for 1 year.

Injury Report: TJPW Wrestler Sidelined

Tokyo Joshi Pro has announced an injury absence coming out of this weekend-Arisu Endo will be temporarily unable to compete. Unspecified issue which is not serious but will require surgery. Out about 1-2 weeks. The expected return date is 4/11 at an event featuring those not going to Canada that weekend. Endo commented on social media that she has been trying to find time for the surgery but the schedule has made it difficult.

Tokyo Joshi Pro 3/29/2026 Results (Updated x3)

GRAND PRINCESS ’26, Tokyo Joshi Pro’s biggest event of the year, is now in the books. (I planned to do live results but was unable to due to unforeseen circumstances, largely preparing for my annual spring hiatus due to extended travel in the coming days)

Today’s event was held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. You can also watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The announced paid attendance was 3098. The setup was for nowhere near the venue’s full capacity of 15,000 (mainly for sumo) but this was better than I hoped for and will be their biggest number of the year.

There was a last-minute change to Match 4 due to Max The Impaler being pulled off the card. Visa issues. Veny was the replacement.

Match 1: Uta Takami beat Shion Kanzaki by submission.

Before match 2 happened…
Raku beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Antonio Honda to win the title. Raku becomes the 1814th Champion.

Match 2: Sumire Uesaka won a 12 person battle royal, last eliminating then-DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu, to win the title. Uesaka becomes the 1817th Champion. Order of elimination: Mari Yaguchi by Raku, Momo Sato by Chika Nanase, Raku by Rika Tatsumi (Tatsumi becomes the 1815th Champion), Nanase by Sakura Hattori, Hattori by Kira Summer, Summer by Kiryu, Mifu Ashida by Antonio Honda, Tatsumi by Kiryu (Kiryu becomes the 1816th Champion), Honda by Uesaka, Kiryu by Uesaka. Uesaka wins.

Match 3: HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki beat Toga & Ren Konatsu. HIMAWARI pinned Konatsu after Sunflower Tempest.

Match 4: Shoko Nakajima, Yuki AIno & Haru Kazashiro beat Aja Kong (OZ Academy), Veny (Independent/Freelancer) & Pom Harajuku. Nakajima pinned Harajuku after a diving senton.

Match 5: Mizuki beat Andreza Giant Panda.

Match 6: Sareee & Takumi Iroha (Independent/Freelancers) beat Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo. Iroha pinned Endo after Running 3. Iroha was a replacement for Lei Ying Lee in this match, who was unable to participate. They never said why but I believe it was schedule conflicts due to TNA Wrestling events. They emphasized it was not TJPW’s or Lee’s fault.

Match 7: Yuka Sakazaki (All Elite Wrestling) & Konosuke Takeshita (DDT/New Japan/AEW) beat Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine (DDT). Sakazaki pinned Misao after Magical Magical Girl Splash.

Match 8: Suzume beat International Princess Champion MIRAI to win the title. Suzume becomes the 17th International Princess Champion. And only the second 2-time champion. TJPW kinda spoiled this result already because of an announced title match on 4/16 in Las Vegas and pretty much everyone being announced already except MIRAI, so I expected this outcome. But what we don’t yet know is who the 4/16 challenger is.

Match 9: Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay beat Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara to win the titles. Lee & McKay become the 2-th Princess Tag Team Champions. Lee pinned Uehara. UPSET ALERT!!! I absolutely DID NOT see this one coming! Now the Iinspiration will defend in Las Vegas and perhaps elsewhere as the titles are perhaps held hostage by outsiders now. At least until 4/16 when the next title defense is scheduled for.

Main Event: Yuki Arai beat Princess Of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe to win the title. Arai becomes the 17th Princess Of Princess Champion. You know I’ve been crying happy tears of joy about this one as Arai’s #1 US fan. The journey to the top has been successfully completed for Arai, from J-Pop idol to top champion in TJPW. Next up: J-Rod, as was already announced, which will happen on 4/16. Hopefully the first of many successful defenses, and of course my wrath will be temporarily turned towards whoever beats Arai for the title. But for now, I’m enjoying this as much as I can.

The next event is Saturday at Fukuchiyama City Sandanike Park General Gym in Kyoto for a Mifu Ashida hometown event. There will be no live broadcast. On demand on 4/7.

UPDATE: Backstage comments/happenings after the event suggest that the next challenger for Suzume could be Hattori.

UPDATE 2: Per TJPW’s social media, 4/16 title match details are likely coming tonight. We know Arai vs. J-Rod will be made official but no word on the other titles, namely Princess Tag Team. And whether or not Suzume will defend International against Hattori.

UPDATE 3: The 4/16 title matches are now official. Of course Arai-J-Road as already announced for the Princess Of Princess Champiknship. The challengers for the Princess Tag Team Championship will be Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao. For the International Princess Championship the challenger is Sakura Hattori. The Suzume-Hattori winner will then defend the title on 5/4 at Korakuen Hall vs. the winner of a 5-way on 4/8 with HIMAWARI, Shino Suzuki, Haru Kazashiro, Mifu Ashida & Uta Takami.

TJPW News: Late 3/29/2026 Card Change

Tokyo Joshi Pro has been forced to make a last-minute change to the GRAND PRINCESS ’26 lineup on 3/29…unfortunately no Wasteland Pom Party once again because Max The Impaler is now off the event. Visa issues. Max was to have teamed with Pom Harajuku & Aja Kong to face Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. Veny is the replacement. Of course this is very disappointing because no Max & Pom together again. But it’s how things are sometimes.

Also, it has been announced that, in addition to the live WRESTLE UNIVERSE broadcast, you will also be able to watch the first match LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube. That is scheduled to be Uta Takami vs. Shion Kanzaki.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Texas Stampede-Houston” Results (3/22/2026) (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro wraps up their first US tour of the year today with the last event of their 4-event Texas series in Houston. The build to GRAND PRINCESS ’26 is pretty much over so this last event before that looks to be a regular house show on paper with some more fun matches before everyone heads back to Japan, although most of them will return in a few weeks for events in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week.

Today’s event will be held at Post Houston in Houston, TX and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English. There appear to be 6 matches currently planned so it will be another short house show with a runnign time of proabbly a little over 90 minutes.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Hyper Misao vs. Raku
Sakura Hattori vs. Mifu Ashida
Yuki Aino & VertVixen vs. Suzume & Shino Suzuki
Yuki Arai vs. Pom Harajuku
Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Miyu Yamashita & Kaylia Capri
Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo vs. Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki & Uta Takami

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 10 minutes before the event.

3:15 PM PT UPDATE: I got distracted and totally forgot to watch the event, so here are the results, my apologies for not doing live:

The announced paid attendance was 415, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Yuki Aino & VertVixen beat Suzume & Shino Suzuki. Aino pinned Suzuki after Venus DDT.

Match 2: Sakura Hattori beat Mifu Ashida,

Match 3: Hyper Misao beat Raku.

Match 4: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Miyu Yamashita & Kaylia Capri. Uehara beat Capri with Banana Pillow.

Match 5: Yuki Arai beat Pom Harajuku.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo beat Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki & Uta Takami. Watanabe pinned Takami after Teardrop.

The next event is GRAND PRINCESS ’26, the biggest event of the year, on 3/29 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Saturday at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET.

UPDATE: For 3/29, current DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Antonio Honda has been added to the card to defend the title in the scheduled battle royal. But, as always, subject to change (as it has several times). Which means someone beat GM Imabayashi’s Glasses to win the title then Honda beat that someone as he is the 1813th champion.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “TJPW Texas Stampede-Dallas” LIVE Results (3/21/2026)

After a couple days off for travel and fun exploring Texas, Tokyo Joshi Pro begins the second half of their first US tour today in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with the third of 4 events. The final push to GRAND PRINCESS ’26 continues today, specifically the Princess Of Princess Championship match between Miu Watanabe & Yuki Arai, and with an extra development yesterday-it already was announced that whoever leaves 3/29 as champion will defend on 4/16 in Las Vegas, NV and the promotion announced who they will defend against…J-Rod. She failed to beat Watanabe for the title before, but who will she face this time?

There have been some last-minute changes to today’s card due to Jada Stone being pulled off the event. Flight delays. Not going to make it in time (I think we can perhaps blame the current government shutdown because it’s made delays in some areas horrible, especially Texas and Atlanta, GA). She was to have faced Rika Tatsumi. What was to have been Mizuki vs. Hyper Misao will now be a 3-way with Tatsumi as a result.

Today’s event will be held at College Park Center at the University of Texas in Arlington, TX and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English. There also is the prior caveat about potential streaming issues due to the servers being in Japan-at the first event it was rough for the first few minutes then no issues after that, I didn’t watch the second event but hopefully all will go well. With the lineup change there are now only 6 matches and they do seem to be keeping to the time limits but now this card will be a little shorter than planned with a running time of probably about 100 minutes. WIth 7 matches it likely would’ve been about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Shino Suzuki vs. Mifu Ashida
Sakura Hattori vs. Uta Takumi
Mizuki vs. Hyper Misao & Rika Tatsumi in a 3-way
Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Raku & Pom Harajuku
Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Yuki Aino & VertVixen
Miu Watanabe & Miyu Yamashita vs. Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Arai

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 10 minutes before the event.

12:50 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 5-10 minutes.

1 PM PT UPDATE: Waiting to go to the venue.

1:01 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from College Park Center at the University of Texas in Arlington, TX. Commentary will begin shortly.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The venue map suggests a capacity of around 2000 but the initial camera shots indicate it won’t be near a sellout today. This could wind up being the lowest number of the tour so far (which has been very successful btw) so from what I’ve seen I’ll make an initial prediction of around 1250. (Actually from seeing more early crowd shots it looks smaller so I’m revising it down to 1000) (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1481. Typical late-arriving crowd)

Up Up Girls out first thing. Matches should begin in about 5 minutes.

The matches begin at 1:10 PM PT/4:10 PM ET. Your hosts are Rich Bocchini & Veda Scott.

Match 1: Shino Suzuki vs. Mifu Ashida
Result: Shino Suzuki beat Mifu Ashida by submission

Match 2: Sakura Hattori vs. Uta Takami
Result: Sakura Hattori beat Uta Takami by submission

Match 3: Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Raku & Pom Harajuku
Result: Suzume & Arisu Endo beat Raku & Pom Harajuku. Endo pinned Harajuku after The 10th Law.

Match 4: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Yuki Aino & VertVixen
Result: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Yuki Aino & VertVixen. Kamifuku pinned Aino after a middle-rope Fameasser.

Match 5: Mizuki vs. Hyper Misao & Rika Tatsumi in a 3-way
Result: Mizuki beat Hyper Misao & Rika Tatsumi in a 3-way by pinning Misao.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe & Miyu Yamashita vs. Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Arai
Result: Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Arai beat Miu Watanabe & Miyu Yamashita. Nakajima pinned Yamashita after a diving senton.

No streaming issues today aside from starting a minute or two late. Another fun event despite losing one match due to Jada Stone not able to make it, not her fault though. Today was the final Arai-Watanabe face-off as Arai is scheduled to face Pom tomorrow.

The tour finale is tomorrow at Post Houston in Houston, TX. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English will begin at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET.

Tokyo Joshi Pro 3/18/2026 Results (Updated x2)

Tokyo Joshi Pro ran their second US event of the week today in Austin, TX to finish up a doubleheader.

Today’s event was held at Austin-Palmer Event Center Exhibition Hall in Austin, TX and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English. I was unable to watch live or do live results due to work conflicts.

Match 1: Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida beat Arisu Endo & Shino Suzuki. Arai pinned Suzuki after a deformed brainbuster.

UPDATE 2: The 4/16 Princess Of Princess Championship match has been decided, namely who the 3/29 Miu Watanabe-Yuki Arai winner will defend against…J-Rod.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “TJPW TEXAS STAMPEDE” LIVE Results (3/17/2026)

For their first visit to the US this year, Tokyo Joshi Pro is headed to Texas for the first time for a series called “TJPW TEXAS STAMPEDE”. It starts today with the first half of a doubleheader in Austin in the area where SXSW is held. On paper it’s mainly a house show lineup but will continue the build to 2 of the 3 GRAND PRINCESS ’26 title matches and, even better, our beloved former ring announcer Sayuri Namba will be at all the events as, between these and the Las Vegas event plus their Canada debut later this year, we’re going to see a lot more of her and we’re all very happy about that.

Today’s event will be held at Austin-Palmer Events Exhibit Center in Austin, TX and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English. However, they are warning of possible issues or even cancellation of streaming because of the stream originating from servers in Japan. There are 6 matches planned and if they stick to the usual time limits, that will probably keep the running time to “standard” house show length of about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Suzume vs. Uta Takami
Sakura Hattori (fka Kaya Toribami) vs. Shino Suzuki
Hyper Misao & Mifu Ashida vs. Raku & Pom Harajuku
Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo vs. Mizuki & Yuki Aino
Shoko Nakajima & Wakana Uehara vs. Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi vs. Yuki Arai & Yuki Kamifuku

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin shortly.

5:02 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Austin-Palmer Events Exhibit Center in Austin, TX. No commentary yet.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The setup is for about 1500 and an event-related website claims it’s a sellout but the crowd is still filing in and the bleachers we see are far from full, but other seating is. I’ll guess a little low and say around 1000. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1951. This may include some standing room seating that was not for sale but was shown as perhaps being for SXSW attendees)

We come in during Sayuri Namba’s introduction in English then right to Up Up Girls so the matches should begin in 5-10 minutes.

Technical issues begin as Up up Girls finishes. It looks like they were perhaps joined by Fumirin today (the promotion’s bilingual referee). (Fixed aft\er a refresh)

The matches begin at 5:10 PM PT/8:10 PM ET. Your hosts are Rich Bocchini & Veda Scott. Sounds like maybe no time limits today. All intros/announcements are in English.

Match 1: Suzume vs. Uta Takami
Result: Suzume beat Uta Takami

Match 2: Sakura Hattori (fka Kaya Toribami) vs. Shino Suzuki. Hattori is still masked but now has more of a kunoichi (female ninja) appearance and mask.
Result: Sakura Hattori beat Shino Suzuki

Match 3: Hyper Misao & Mifu Ashida vs. Raku & Pom Harajuku
Result: Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Hyper Misao & Mifu Ashida. Raku pinned Ashida after Doctor Yellow.

Match 4: Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo vs. Mizuki & Yuki Aino
Result: Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo beat Mizuki & Yuki Aino. Yamashita pinned Aino after Skull Kick.

Match 5: Shoko Nakajima & Wakana Uehara vs. Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
Result: Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee beat Shoko Nakajima & Wakana Uehara. Both pinned Uehara.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi vs. Yuki Arai & Yuki Kamifuku
Result: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi beat Yuki Arai & Yuki Kamifuku. Watanabe pinned Arai after Teardrop.

After those initial issues at the beginning, the stream was smooth and stable the rest of the way. Hopefully that will be the case the rest of the week.

The second half of this doubleheader is tomorrow. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English will begin at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET. Due to work schedule conflicts with the earlier start time I will not be able to do live results.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 3/15/2026 LIVE Results (Updated)

With the first of 2 visits to North America ahead over the next month (multiple stops in the US and also their first visit to Canada, meaning we will get a lot of our beloved former ring announcer Sayuri Namba again as she has been confirmed for all those events), Tokyo Joshi Pro runs the de facto final event before GRAND PRINCESS ’26 today in Tokyo. The main event features (almost) all the champions on one side and will be the final face-off between Miu Watanabe & Yuki Arai ahead of the 3/29 main event. Additionally, fans will be able to get a first look at new title belts that will be introduced on 3/29, the first time TJPW’s championships have been refreshed (pics have already been posted on line). Today also marks Kaya Toribami’s final match in TJPW as, starting with the US events next week, she will be changing her name to Sakura Hattori but the question is will her appearance change and is the mask she’s always worn going away too?

Today’s event will be held at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned but with all only having 15-20 minute time limits this should wind up being a “normal” house show with a running time of about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami vs. Cbika Nanase & Shion Kanzaki
Kaya Toribami vs. HIMAWARI
Rika Tatsumi vs. Raku, Mahiro Kiryu & Mifu Ashida in a 4-way
Hyper Misao vs. Kira Summer
Mizuki vs. Pom Harajuku
Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo vs. Toga & Ren Konatsu
Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Suzume vs. Yuki Arai, Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM PT. The live stream is scheduled to begin 10 minutes before the event.

8:20 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 5-10 minutes.

8:28 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. What we can see on camera is mostly full but advance sales look to be average so it depends on how the cheaper seats sold. I’ll make an early guess of 250 (the venue’s max capacity is around 450). (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 350, a super full house/very near sellout)

The matches should begin in 10-15 minutes.

The matches begin at 8:40 PM PT/11:40 PM ET.

Match 1: Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami vs. Cbika Nanase & Shion Kanzaki. 20 minute time limit
Result: Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami beat Chika Nanase & Shion Kanzaki. Suzuki pinned Kanzaki after a belly-to-belly suplex.

Match 2: Hyper Misao vs. Kira Summer. 15 minute time limit
Result: Hyper Misao beat Kira Summer by submission

Match 3: Rika Tatsumi vs. Raku, Mahiro Kiryu & Mifu Ashida in a 4-way. 20 minute time limit
Result: Rika Tatsumi beat Raku, Mahiro Kiryu & Mifu Ashida in a 4-way by beating Kiryu. Afterwards, Kiryu with microphone. She had DDT GM Imabayashi brought in, who is the current DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion. But of course kiryu wanted the belt now. Which led to all the girls beating down Imabayashi…then Kiryu. Imabayashi then took off with all the girls after him with referee Fumirin in tow. Except Kiryu. Updates to follow if anything happens.

Match 4: Mizuki vs. Pom Harajuku. 15 minute time limit. Actually it’s…Andreza Giant Pom! HAHAHA!
Result: Mizuki beat Pom Harajuku. Harajuku wound up ditching the panda suit late in the match but it made for a really fun comedy match-Pom is at her humorous best when dressing up or doing ridiculous gimmicks like this. Afterwards, someone wearing an American-themed mask & outfit rushed the ring and stole Mizuki’s half-wand while possessing the stolen original. Apparently this “guy” was here on behalf of original thief Andreza Giant Panda. GRAND PRINCESS ’26 promo but the USA themed character was very poorly timed given what’s going on in the world right now. Not good and not funny at all.

Match 5: Kaya Toribami vs. HIMAWARI. 15 minute time limit
Result: Kaya Toribami beat HIMAWARI. And now we say goodbye to Toribami and await the arrival of Sakura Hattori.

Match 6: Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo vs. Toga & Ren Konatsu. 20 minute time limit
Result: Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo beat Toga & Ren Konatsu. Endo pinned Konatsu.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Suzume vs. Yuki Arai, Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. 20 minute time limit. Start may be briefly delayed by ring repairs/maintenance.
Result: Time Limit Draw. But Arai & Watanabe wanted to continue to fight. And they have at least one more chance before GRAND PRINCESS ’26.

The next event is TJPW TEXAS STAMPEDE Austin Day 1 Tuesday at Austin-Palmer Events Center Exhibit Hall in Austin, TX. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET but they do caution there may be technical issues because the stream will originate from Japan, at least server-wise. Commentary is scheduled to be in English only.

UPDATE: Sakura Hattori will debut Tuesday against Shino Suzuki. Here is a sneak peek of her new persona from TJPW:

Also, after 3/29 all 3 titles will next/first be defended at the Las Vegas event on 4/16.
