Tokyo Joshi Pro continued the Tokyo Princess Cup today with the second half of Round 2.
Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 361, a full house/near sellout.
Before the matches began, it was announced that on 8/23 at Korakuen Hall, Yuki Kamifuku’a next retirement road match will see her re-form Ober Eats, the popular duo with Wakana Uehara, for a match against Mifu Ashida & Sumire Natsu. Kamifuku & Uehara haven’t teamed up since losing the Princess Tag Team Championship at GRAND PRINCESS ‘26. Then, the Up Up Girls performance featured the return of Shino Suzuki, who had been out since May due to medical issues but is fully recovered
Match 1: Yuki Kamifuku, Sakura Hattori & Momo Sato beat Chika Nanase, Ren Konatsu & Shion Kanzaki. Hattori pinned Kanzaki.
Match 2: Miyu Yamashita & Haru Kazashiro beat Mizuki & Shino Suzuki. Kazashiro beat Suzuki with 16th Night (armbar variation).
Match 3: Rika Tatsumi, Arisu Endo, Wakana Uehara & Uta Takami beat Hyper Misao, Raku, Uta Takami & Mifu Ashida. Tatsumi pinned Ashida after Missile Hip. Afterwards, Tatsumi tried to win the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship from Raku but failed.
Tokyo Princess Cup Round 2:
Match 4: Toga beat Mahiro Kiryu.
Match 5: Suzume beat Pom Harajuku
Match 6: Yuki Aino beat Mii Watanabe by submission.
Main Event: Shoko Nakajima beat Yuki Arai. (somehow this didn’t show up in the original post)
As a result, the second half of the Quarterfinals will be Toga vs. Aino and Suzume vs. Nakajima. And the main event result means Arai will defend the Princess Of Princess Championship against the tournament winner at WRESTLE PRINCESS 7.
The Quarterfinals are 8/8 at Ryogoku KFC Hall.
The next event is TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 Friday-Sunday in Tokyo with TJPW matches planned each day. There will be no live or on demand broadcasts.
