Tokyo Joshi Pro 9/27/25 Results (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro began their fall house show tour today in Tokyo, which was changed this last week to include a retirement ceremony for Neko Haruna, the popular catgirl wrestler who has left the promotion and retired due to injuries.

Today’s event was held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 284, a legit advance sellout.

There were last-minute changes to the card due to Toga being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health.

During the opening announcements, it was announced that Yuki Kamifuku, who unbeknownst to us was actually competing as a freelancer these last several years, has officially joined the promotion.

Match 1: Mizuki beat Chika Nanase by submission.

Match 2: In a match where the winner was the first to answer a question about a certain country then find if on a globe within 10 second of a pinfall or rope escape wins, Hyper Misao beat Shino Suzuki.

Match 3: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uheara beat Raku & Ren Konatsu. Uehara pinned Konatsu after Sushi Tornado.

Match 5: Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami beat Yuki Arai, HIMAWARI & Mifu Ashida. Nakajima pinned Ashida with a Northern Lights suplex hold.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe, Arisu Endo & Uta Takami beat Yuki Aino, Haru Kazashiro & Kira Summer. Watanabe pinned Summer after Reverse Paradox.

Special Post-Main Event Match: Neko Haruna Retirement Match: Suzume & Mahiro Kiryu beat Rika Tatsumi & Pom Harajuku. Kiryu pinned Harajuku after a spinebuster. Neko Haruna was in the winners’ corner. Which led to…
Neko Haruna beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu to win the title. Haruna becomes the 1769th Champion. Which would allow her to be a champion for the first time in her career. Which led to…
Mahiro Kiryu beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Neko Haruna to win the title. Kiryu becomes the 1770th Champion. Well, at least Haruna was champion for a couple minutes. This was followed by a retirement ceremony, 10 bell salute and final call for Neko Haruna, bringing her 7 year career to a close that unfortunately became derailed over the last 2-3 years due to a pair of serious knee injuries.

The next event is 10/4 at Club eX in Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Broadcast plans TBA but as of right now there may be no live broadcast.

UPDATE: The 10/4 event will be LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube, but only with an iPad so it may not go well (the first time they attempted this it actually had very few issues). No on demand. Live broadcast Friday at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET.

Injury Report: No Toga Party Again

Tokyo Joshi Pro has announced last-minute changes to tomorrow’s event because, as the pun hints at, Toga is now off the event. The always-vague poor health. She was to have teamed with Ren Konatsu to face Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara. Raku is the replacement, but she was to have faced Hyper Misao & Shino Suzuki in a 3-way. That’s now a single match.

Tokyo Joshi Pro 9/20/25 Results (Updated x2)

WRESTLE PRINCESS 6, Tokyo Joshi Pro’s most important event of the year (no longer their biggest though), is in the books.

Today’s event was held at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 1127.

There were some last-minute changes to the event due to Jada Stone being off the card. Not cleared to travel to Japan due to a knee injury. She was to have faced Arisu Endo for the vacant International Princess Championship. Priscilla Kelly was the replacement. She was to have faced Rika Tatsumi though. Pom Harajuku was removed from a battle royal to be the replacement there.

Before the event began, the promotion announced its first event in Thailand for 12/13 in Bangkok, which almost certainly will include Setup Pro Wrestling participation. They also announced that GRAND PRINCESS 2026, their biggest event of the year, will return to Ryogoku Kokugikan on 3/29 after being held elsewhere this year. 3 new trainees were also introduced, for now their names are Shion, Henn & Yuka.

Match 1: Mei Suruga (Chocolate Pro Wrestling( & Uta Takami beat Suzume & Ren Konatsu. Takami beat Konatsu with Koala Clutch.

Match 2: Mahiro Kiryu won an 8 person battle royal, last eliminating DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Raku’s Pillow and Raku, to win the title. Kiryu becomes the 1768th Champion. Raku’s Pillow earlier beat Pocotan to become the 1767th Champion.

Match 3: Aja Kong (OZ Academy) beat HIMAWARI.

Match 4: In a Flag Fight Official Weapons Deathmatch, where wrestlers could use their chosen weapon after grabbing a flag installed in their corner, Pom Harajuku beat Rika Tatsumi.

Match 5: Hiroyo Matsumoto (Independent/Freelancer) & Yuki Arai beat Haru Kazashiro & Toga. Arai pinned Kazashiro after Finally. Matsumoto was who originally trained Arai and helped her get into wrestling, which recently was revealed online.

Match 6: Ryo Mizunami (Independent/Freelancer) & Yuki Aino beat Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami. Aino beat Yamashita with Full Nelson Of Love & Flame.

Match 7: Arisu Endo beat Priscilla Kelly to win the vacant International Princess Championship. Endo becomes the 15th International Princess Champion.

Match 8: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Princess Tag Team Champions Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao to win the titles. Kamifuku & Uehara become the 19th Princess Tag Team Champions. Kamifuku pinned Nakajima after a diving Fameasser.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe beat Princess Of Princess Champion Mizuki to win the title. Watanabe becomes the 16th Princess Of Princess Champion. HAPPY HAPPY!!! Next up: Aino, who perhaps just had the biggest win of her career to date by beating Yamashita in the tag match. That match will happen on 10/18 at Korakuen Hall.

The next event is 9/27 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, which will also feature the retirement ceremony for Neko Haruna, who announced recently she would leave the promotion and retire from wrestling due to injuries. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.

UPDATE: After the event, the promotion announced the NexGene 2025 Tournament coming up in October. It will be a double-elimination tournament with 4 participants: Kira Summer, Chika Nanase, Uta Takami, Ren Konatsu. It will be held over 4 events and the eventual winner gets a title shot of their choice.

UPDATE 2: It was also announced that Nakajima’s next M:W Women’s Featherweight Championship defense will be on 10/4 in Long Beach, CA vs. HIMAWARI. As a result, both are now off the 10/4 TJPW event. The MLW event with that match will be streamed live FOR FREE on YouTube and also broadcast live on beIN Sports.

BREAKING: TJPW WP6 Last-Minute Changes

In an emergency Space live broadcast on Twitter earlier today, Tokyo Joshi Pro announced several last-minute changes to WRESTLE PRINCESS 6 on Saturday:

Injury Report-this is the main reason why changes had to be made to the card-Jada Stone is now off. Knee. Unable to travel to Japan as a result (doctor’s orders). She was to have faced Arisu Endo for the vacant International Princess Championship. Priscilla Kelly is the replacement…but more changes because she originally was to have faced Rika Tatsumi. Pom Harajuku is the replacement and there will be special rules which are TBA. Harajuku was to have been in a 9-person battle royal for the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship currently held by Pocotan. That is now an 8-person battle royal. Hopefully no more changes needed but the battle royal comes with the standard “always subject to change” label due to the Iron Man Title 24/7 rules.

UPDATE: At yesterday’s MLW Fightland event in the US, which is why Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Kamifuku were off this event, Nakajima beat Kamifuku to retain the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship. That event is available on demand FOR FREE on YouTube.

Injury Report: WAKANAAAAOW

Tokyo Joshi Pro has announced an injury change for upcoming events this weekend-Ober Eats is out of service as Wakana Uehara is now off. Unspecified injury suffered this past weekend. Out Saturday. She was to have faced Hyper Misao. Chika Nanase is the replacement, which means the match she was in, teaming with Mahiro Kiryu vs. Miu Watanabe & Toga, is now a 3-way.

Hopefully Uehara will be able to return after this event, that’s critical because the next event is WRESTLE PRINCESS 6 on 9/20 where she & Yuki Kamifuku are to face Misao & Shoko Nakajima for the Princess Tag Team Championship, and it also has been announced the winners defend on 10/18 vs. Yuna Manase & Toga. (Nakajuma & Kamifuku are also off this weekend, which was expected and previously announced due to a match between them in Major League Wrestling in the US for Nakajima’s MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship)

More as it becomes available.

BREAKING: Another TJPW Wrestler Retiring

Breaking announcement from Tokyo Joshi Pro-Neko Haruna, who has been out most of the last 2+ years due to injuries, has left the promotion and will retire later this month. She is recovering from knee surgery in June and will not be able to compete again before retiring. The retirement ceremony will be held on 9/27 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo as part of a scheduled TJPW event. That event is scheduled to be streamed live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

Haruna, 26, spent her entire career, almost 7 years, with TJPW and, at about 4’9″, was the shortest wrestler in the promotion (about 1-2 inches shorter than Shoko Nakajima). Shin-Kiba 1st Ring is also where she debuted.

(Side note: Haruna has confirmed on social media that she will not wrestle on 9/27, but will be in attendance)

Tokyo Joshi Pro 9/7/25 Results (Event 2)

As noted earlier today, Tokyo Joshi Pro ran a straight doubleheader in Tokyo today, the second event being a “normal” event for all fans after the women-only first event.

Today’s event was held at Kitazawa Town Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 222, a full house/near sellout.

During the opening announcements, a TJPW INSPIRATION event, the latest in the promotion’s series of occasional spin-offs featuring unusual comedy matches and outside participation which are uncommon in the main events, was announced for 11/19 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. The first match announced is Shoko Nakajima & Miyu Yamashita vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Yuu. Yuu, who currently competes in Sendai Girls, will be retiring at the end of the year. She also is competing in DDT later this week.

Match 1: HIMAWARI beat Ren Konatsu.

Match 2: Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Mahiro Kiryu, Kaya Toribami & Mifu Ashida. Raku pinned Ashida after Doctor Yellow.

Match 3: Yuki Arai beat Chika Nanase.

Match 4: Rika Tatsumi beat Uta Takami by submission.

Match 5: Suzume & Arisu Endo beat Haru Kazashiro & Shino Suzuki. Endo pinned Suzuki after The 10th Law.

Match 6: Yuna Manase (Ganbare Pro) & Toga beat Miyu Yamashita & Kira Summer. Toga pinned Summer after Rock Bottom. Afterwards, Manase issued a Princess Tag Team Championship challenge on behalf of herself & Toga. We’ll see what happens but that’s going to depend in part on what happens at WRESTLE PRINCESS 6 on 9/20 as Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao will defend the titles against Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara.

Main Event: Mizuki, Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao beat Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara. Misao beat Uehara with a chicken wing.

The next event is Saturday at Tsurugajo Gym in Fukushima for another Arisu Endo hometown event. There will be no live broadcast. On demand on 9/16.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “GO GIRL 6” LIVE Results (9/7/25-Event 1)

Tokyo Joshi Pro runs a straight doubleheader in Tokyo today, starting with their latest GO GIRL event. This is their women-only series of events where only female fans are allowed to buy tickets and attend, both an attempt to get more women to attend their events but also provide a “safer” environment to do so (Yes, female fans do attend regular events and can get specific seats at a discount-around $13-14 US, and at Korakuen Hall events that’s anywhere from 50-70% off regular price-but in TJPW they make up a very small percentage of fans at their events. I know from watching many events they tend to gravitate to the bigger promotions like New Japan, All-Japan and especially Dragon Gate). On paper it’s otherwise a standard house show, for the second event anyone will be able to attend. And there is one exception to the admission rule-boys under elementary school age (roughly 5 years old) can enter with their mothers.

Today’s events will be held at Kitazawa Town Hall in Tokyo and-by men and all fans-can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. You will also be able to watch the second event later today LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube (live broadcast only). There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned for this first event but with the time limits and event later today I anticipate this event running the near-standard time of about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Rika Tatsumi vs. Mahiro Kiryu & Kaya Toribami in a 3-way
Miu Watanabe vs. Ren Konatsu
Mizuki vs. Uta Takami
Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase
Hyper Misao, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki vs. Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku
Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida
Shoko Nakajima & Haru Kazashiro vs. Miyu Yamashita & Toga
