WRESTLE PRINCESS 7, Tokyo Joshi Pro’s second biggest but perhaps still most important event of the year, is now in the books.
Today’s event was held at Ebara Wave Arena Ota/Ota City General Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 1357.
Match 1: Uta Takami beat Ren Konatsu by submission.
Match 2: Chieri Sakamori Debut Match: HIMAWARI, Shino Suzuki & Mifu Ashida beat Chieri Sakamori, Shion Kanzaki & Momo Sato. HIMAWARI beat Sakamori with Robin GoodFellow.
Match 3: Raku & Rakuga (?) beat Pom Harajuku & Pocotan and Mahiro Kiryu & Tama in a 3-way when Raku pinned Harajuku.
Match 4: Aja Kong (OZ Academy), Sakura Hattori & O-MENZ Kumadori (DDT) beat Chris Brookes (DDT), Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. Hattori pinned Nanase. Kumadori was joined by all members of O-MENZ for his entrance performance.
Match 5: Yuki Kamifuku & Veny beat Wakana Uehara & Toga. Kamifuku pinned Uehara after Fameasser. This was billed as the last time Kamifuku & Veny would team before Kamifuku retires at the end of the year.
Match 6: Mizuki beat Hyper Misao. Jushin Thunder Liger was special referee.
Match 7: SETUP All-Asia Women’s Champion Shoko Nakajima beat Zara Zakher to retain the title.
After the Intermission here, it was announced that Shiori Futaba, currently a J-Pop idol, will debut at ALL RISE ’26 on 11/8 at Korakuen Hall.
Match 8: Pro Wrestling EVE International Champion Miyu Yamashita beat Arisu Endo to retain the title.
Match 9: Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro beat Princess Tag Team Champions Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi to win the titles. Aino & Kazashiro become the 22nd Princess Tag Team Champions. Aino beat Tatsumi with Full Nelson Of Love & Flame. Definitely at least a mild upset in part because of Kazashiro, who gets her first championship at only 18 AND they beat Daydream to do so.
Main Event: Princess Of Princess Champion Yuki Arai beat Suzume to retain the title. V5 for Arai. And once again all is well in the world for a little longer. This was not a double title match as the International Princess Championship held by Suzume was not on the line. Next up: Nakajima. Arai has never beaten Nakajima in a single match to date so hopefully that will change. That match will happen on 11/8.
The next event is 10/10 at Gran Hammer 8F in Tokyo. This is an outdoor event and is subject to cancellation in case of bad weather, which has been a constant lately in Tokyo. If the event goes on as planned, there will be no live broadcast.
