Tokyo Joshi Pro continued the Tokyo Princess Cup today with the Quarterfinals. After today the Semifinals would be determined by a random draw rather than the established bracket.
Today’s event was held at Otemachi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 284.
Match 1: Maki Itoh & Arisu Endo beat Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano. Itoh beat Nagano with Itoh Punish.
Match 2: Yuki Kamifuku beat Neko Haruna & Mizuki in a 3-way by pinning Haruna.
Match 3: Yuki Arai, Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Hyper Misao, Mahiro Kiryu & Kaya Toribami. Arai pinned Toribami after Finally.
Tokyo Princess Cup:
Match 4: Suzume beat Rika Tatsumi.
Match 5: Miyu Yamashita beat Nao Kakuta.
Match 6: Yuka Sakazaki beat Hikari Noa.
Main Event: Miu Watanabe beat Shoko Nakajima. That means whoever wins the tournament gets to face Nakajima for the Princess Of Princess Championship, possibly at WRESTLE PRINCESS 3 in October.
As a result of the random post-event draw, the Semifinals will be Sakazaki-Suzume & Yamashita-Watanabe. The Semifinals are on 8/13 at Korakuen Hall.
The next event is 8/7 at Fujisawa City Shonandai Cultural Children’s Center Citizen’s Theater in Kanagawa, which will be a Yuki Kamifuku Homecoming event. Yuna Manase (Ganbare Pro) participation has been announced for the event. There will be no live broadcast.
