Tokyo Joshi Pro likely wrapped up the fall house show tour today in Gunma, meaning they had to (hopefully not) rush Mahiro Kiryu back from injury hiatus for a hometown event.
Today’s event was held at G Messe Gunma in Gunma and will be avialable on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Saturday. There was no live broadcast, although they did stream the last 3 matches live on the service’s UNIVERSE CAST feature (but there is no on demand of that).
The announced paid attendance was 297, a super full house/very near sellout.
Match 1: Wakana Uehara beat Shion Kanzaki by submission.
Match 2: Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Hyper Misao & Ren Konatsu. Raku pinned Konatsu after Doctor Yellow.
Match 3: Mizuki beat Momo Sato.
Match 4: Shoko Nakajima beat Arisu Endo & Shino Suzuki in a 3-way by pinning Suzuki.
Match 5: Yuki Aino, Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami beat Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Kira Summer. Aino pinned Summer after Venus DDT.
Match 6: Yuki Arai, HIMAWARI & Mifu Ashida beat Suzume, Toga & Chika Nanase. Arai beat Nanase with a scorpion deathlock.
Main Event: Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu beat Miyu Yamashita & Sakura Hattori. Kiryu pinned Hattori after a spinebuster.
The next event is Sunday at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo for their final event at the venue before it closes at the end of next week. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Saturday at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET. (The only match announced so far is Yuki Kamifuku vs. Wakana Uehara)
