Tokyo Joshi Pro continues their fall house show tour today in Tokyo, highlighted by the end of the NexGene ’25 Tournament. The winner will get a title shot of their choice, and being a double-elimination tournament makes for a unique final as Uta Takami faces Chika Nanase. If Takami wins she wins the tournament but if Nanase wins that’s only one loss so far for Takami so that would mean an immediate rematch and Nanase must beat Takami twice in a row to win.
It has been announced that Shoko Nakajima is off this event due to having completed in Mexico yesterday. (On another side note, today-yesterday Japan time-is Yuki Aino’s birthday, she turned 31) Also, after a successful defense earlier in the week it appears Mahiro Kiryu is still the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion, so you never know what will happen there. If so, if she loses in her match and gets pinned/submitted whoever beat her becomes champion.
Today’s event will be held at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. Outside of the tournament final it’s otherwise a standard house show and should have a standard running time of about 2 hours. Also, due to simulcasting a Pro Wrestling NOAH event shortly after this event begins some results may be delayed slightly.
Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Miu Watanabe & Yuki Aino vs. Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida
Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Kira Summer vs. HIMAWARI, Shino Suzuki & Haru Kazashiro
Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Suzume & Pom Harajuku
Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu vs. Hyper Misao & Raku
Mizuki vs. Toga
Arisu Endo vs. Ren Konatsu
NexGene Tournament Finals: Uta Takami vs. Chika Nanase. If Nanase wins there will be an immediate rematch due to being a double-elimination format (Takami has no losses, Nanase has one)

8:15 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.
8:28 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.
We are LIVE from Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.
The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The setup appeared to be for around 350 (full capacity for the venue is roughly 500) but they have a lot going against them today-baseball (although World Series Game 2 featuring Shohei Ohtani is now over), other events and in particular a Marigold event coming up in a couple hours (also on WRESTLE UNIVERSE as a PPV). I’m guessing a little on the low side here and predicting it’ll be a crowd of about 200. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 282)
The matches should begin in about 10 minutes.
