Tokyo Joshi Pro runs the penultimate event of the spring house show tour today in Nagoya. The main event will continue the build to the upcoming Yuki Arai-Miyu Yamashita Princess Of Princess Championship match, but also features young Ren Konatsu in what I believe is her first main event as she celebrates completing her rookie year in wrestling. Like the other young up-and-coming wrestlers she is starting to win some matches and show more promise of bigger & better things to hopefully come soon.
Today’s event will be held at Chunichi Hall in Nagoya and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned but it’s a regular house show lineup so the running time should be on the normal side at about 2 hours.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The venue has a few different setups with the biggest being for 650 and the rest for 425-500. It looks like the full capacity and advance ticket sales were good, so it’ll depend on today’s ticket sales but I’ll predict on the high end and say around 500. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 444, a legit sellout)

Match 1: Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro vs. Toga & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit (on a side note, not really a fan of Aino’s new look with the jet black hair. I much preferred the old light blonde color)
Result: Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro beat Toga & Chika Nanase. Kazashiro pinned Nanase with a fisherman’s suplex hold.
Match 2: Pom Harajuku vs. Mahiro Kiryu & Sakura Hattori in a 3-way. 15 minute time limit
Result: Sakura Hattori beat Mahiro Kiryu & Pom Harajuku in a 3-way by pinning both.
Match 3: Mizuki & Uta Takami vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Raku. 20 minute time limit (Kamifuku is wearing her new sexier outfit that she wore in her title shot against Yuki Arai earlier this month)
Result: Mizuki & Uta Takami beat Yuki Kamifuku & Raku. Mizuki pinned Raku after a diving foot stomp.
Match 4: Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Wakana Uehara & Kira Summer. 20 minute time limit
Result: Suzume & Arisu Endo beat Wakana Uehara & Kira Summer. Suzume pinned Summer after Ring A Bell.
Match 5: Miu Watanabe vs. Hyper Misao. 15 minute time limit
Result: Hyper Misao beat Miu Watanabe
Quick break for ring repairs. They tore off all the corner pads and more last match.
Match 6: Rika Tatsumi vs. Shoko Nakajima. 15 minute time limit

Result: Yuki Arai & Ren Konatsu beat Miyu Yamashita & Shion Kanzaki. Konatsu pinned Kanzaki after a missile dropkick. (Postscript: According to the results, Konatsu’s missile dropkick is/will be called Aries Comet)
