Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 6/28/25 LIVE Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro holds their latest TJPW INSPIRATION event today, continuing the series of occasional (usually 2-3 times a year) series of special off-beat events focused on match types not normally seen in the promotion. These events focus more on comedy matches and outside participation along with special guest appearances-in this case it’s former TJPW favorite Nao Kakuta, who retired last year, who will be a special referee for one match today. It will also be the official debut for Rise Shirai as the new ring announcer…but if you missed the news yesterday, although she is now on her way to Canada former ring announcer Sayuri Namba will be coming back for all the US events in July in Texas.

Today’s event will be held at Tokyo Square in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. These are shorter events than regular TJPW events and there are just 5 matches planned, but one is a 3 minute exhibition match, so the event will only go a little over an hour, probably around 75 minutes.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Mizuki & Miu Watanabe vs. Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami
Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami. Nao Kakuta is special referee
Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Gabai G-chan & Mahiro Kiryu
Exhibition Match: Ai Shimizu vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa
Shoko Nakajima vs. Ren Konatsu

Updates below will begin at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

7:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

8 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Tokyo Square in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The initial setup posted on TJPW’s website was for, by my count, a max capacity of 214. I could see a number of empty seats on one side from the initial overhead camera shot and the layout was subject to change. I’m guessing it’ll be closer to 125. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 214, a super full house/very near sellout. That was the estimated original setup total but there clearly were visible empty seats so either not a legit number or there were no-shows)

The matches should begin shortly. The exhibition match will be first. Rise Shirai makes her official ring announcer debut today. No Up Up Girls.

The matches begin at 8:10 PM PT/11:10 PM ET. Hard camera is at an unusual corner angle on the west side.

Match 1: Exhibition Match: Ai Shimizu vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa. 3 minute time limit
Result: Time Limit Draw. Noteworthy moment about a minute in when Shimizu did the old Undertaker-style rope walk across just under half the distance around the ring.

Match 2: Shoko Nakajima vs. Ren Konatsu. 15 minute time limit
Result: Shoko Nakajima beat Ren Konatsu by submission

Match 3: Suzume & Arisu Endo vs. Gabai G-chan & Mahiro Kiryu. 20 minute time limit
Result: Suzume & Arisu Endo beat Gabai G-chan & Mahiro Kiryu. Suzume pinned Kiryu after Ring A Bell.

Match 4: Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami. Nao Kakuta is special referee. 20 minute time limit
Result: Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase beat Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami. Takase beat Hasegawa with an armbar.

Main Event: Mizuki & Miu Watanabe vs. Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami. 20 minute time limit
Result: Mizuki & Miu Watanabe beat Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami. Mizuki pinned Kazashiro with Cutie Special. Mizuki continues her subtle heel turn and gets more boos as her hopefully losing the Princess Of Princess Championship to Yuki Arai draws closer.

The next event is 7/5 at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET.

UPDATE: It has been announced that SUMMER SIN PRINCESS ’25 on 7/21 will also be a live ABEMA broadcast in Japan. It will also be live worldwide on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. Also added to 7/21 is Chris Brookes (DDT) & Emi Sakura vs. Maki Itoh & El Desperado (New Japan).
