Tokyo Joshi Pro continues the fall house show tour today with a rare weekday matinee in Tokyo. It’s another week-long national holiday which makes the early time possible. With WRESTLE PRINCESS 7 less than 2 weeks away, the build to that major event continues.
There has been a last-minute change to the card due to Mifu Ashida being pulled off the event. Weather-related travel issues-she was working outside Japan (she has a role as a “Japan Ambassador” which she often travels outside the country for) and, due to a hurricane/typhoon affecting the eastern Japan region, her return flight yesterday was cancelled and she can’t make it back to Japan in time for today’s event. She was to have teamed with HIMAWARI to face Raku & Pom Harajuku. It’s now a 3-way.
Today’s event will be held at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. You can also watch THE FULL EVENT FOR FREE on YouTube (live only, no archive/on demand. On demand will be available only on WRESTLE UNIVERSE). The event is a legit advance sellout. There will be no commentary. There are 6 matches planned and the card change may shorten the event a little but it should be on the short side anyway with a running time of just under 2 hours.
