Tokyo Joshi Pro continues the Tokyo Princess Cup 2022 today with the start of Round 2, which will feature two of the Round 2 matches along with a slate of non-tournament matches that will be announced when the event begins. Today’s tournament matches are Miyu Yamashita vs. Raku and Yuki Arai vs. Hikari Noa. Everyone is scheduled to be on the event except for Juria Nagano. After this event Yamashita is headed overseas and will miss next weekend.
Today’s event will be held at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE and on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. Like the first two events, I anticipate today’s event having a total run time of just under 2 hours.

Result: Maki Itoh, Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu beat Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Neko Haruna. Itoh beat Haruna with Itoh Perish.
Match 2: Arisu Endo vs. Nao Kakuta & Shoko Nakjima in a 3-way. 20 minute time limit
Result: Nao Kakuta beat Shoko Nakajima & Arisu Endo in a 3-way by pinning Endo.
Match 3: Hyper Misao, Pom Harajuku, Kaya Toribami & Yuki Aino vs. Yuka Sakazaki, Suzume, Moka Miyamoto & Mizuki. 20 minute time limit
Result: Yuka Sakazaki, Suzume, Moka Miyamoto & Mizuki beat Hyper Misao, Pom Harajuku, Kaya Toribami & Yuki Aino. Suzume pinned Toribami after Ring A Bell.
Match 4: Tokyo Princess Cup Round 2-Raku vs. Miyu Yamashita. No time limit
Result: Miyu Yamashita beat Raku. As a result, Yamashita advances to the Quarterfinals and will face Nao Kakuta on 7/31.
Main Event: Tokyo Princess Cup Round 2-Yuki Arai vs. Hikari Noa. No time limit
Result: Hikari Noa beat Yuki Arai. As a result, Noa advances to the Quarterfinals and will face Yuka Sakazaki. And leaves me heartbroken over Arai losing another tough one.
This was a shorter event than I expected, the matches only went a collective 80 minutes and the event just 90 minutes.
The next event is Saturday at Shinjuku Face with the remaining Round 2 matches-Nakajima vs. Mizuki and Suzume vs. Harajuku. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.
