Tokyo Joshi Pro finished up the build to SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’24 today with the final house show before the event.
Today’s event was held at Itabashi Green Hall in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast.
The announced paid attendance was 194.
There were late changes to the card because Nao Kakuta & Moka Miyamoto were off the event. Kakuta is out due to a lower back injury that has her uncertain for the last 2 weeks of her career. Miyamoto is out due to the ever-vague poor health/physical condition.
Match 1; Kaya Toribami beat Chika Nanase by submission.
Match 2: HIMAWARI beat Kira Summer by submission.
Match 3: Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku beat Wakana Uehara & Toga. Kamifuku pinned Uehara after Fameasser. (Lately I’ve noticed the Google Translate built into DDT’s website now translates it as “Famous Master”. Haha)
A mini talk show with the injured Nao Kakuta, Hyper Misao & Neko Haruna was held.
Match 4: Arisu Endo, Suzume & Haru Kazashiro beat Mahiro Kiryu, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami. Endo pinned Suzuki after The 10th Law.
Main Event: Rika Tatsumi, Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki & Runa Okubo beat Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku. Tatsumi beat Harajuku with White Dragon Sleeper.
The next event is SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’24, the quarterly blowout event, on 7/20 at Korakuen Hall. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese & English will begin Friday at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET with live results scheduled.
