Tokyo Joshi Pro 7/8/25 Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro held a special retirement event today for Yoshiko Hasegawa, who called it a career after just under a decade between Ganbare Pro and later TJPW.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuju Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Former TJPW wrestler Nao Kakuta was a guest on commentary except for the main event, where Teppei Arita was the guest.

The announced paid attendance was 417, a super full house/very near sellout.

There was an “emergency announcement” during pre-match announcements: Another Hyper Misao Produced event was urgently announced for 8/5 at Kitazawa Town Hall.

Match 1: Kira Summer, Chika Nanase & Ivy Steele beat Maki Itoh, Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu. Nanase pinned Konatsu.

Tokyo Princess Cup Qualifier Finals:
Match 2: HIMAWARI beat Pom Harajuku.
Match 3: Moka Miyamoto beat Kaya Toribami.
As a result, HIMAWARI & Miyamoto are in the Tokyo Princess Cup.

Match 4: Raku beat Mahiro Kiryu & Shino Suzuki in a 3-way by pinning Suzuki.

Match 5: Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao & Yuki Aino beat Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Toga. Nakajima pinned Toga with a Northern Lights suplex hold.

Match 6: Mizuki, Suzume, Arisu Endo & Haru Kazashiro beat Yuki Arai, Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Uta Takami. Mizuki pinned Takami with Cutie Special.

Main Event: Yoshiko Hasegawa Retirement Match 3 Match Series:
1-DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Yoshiko Hasegawa beat Tetsuya Koda to retain the title.

3-In a 27 vs. 1 handicap match, the entire roster beat Yoshiko Hasegawa. Shoko Nakajima pinned Hasegawa after a diving senton.

After the matches, the retirement ceremony for Hasegawa was held. Several of her former partners & rivals from other promotions including Ganbare Pro & Marigold were present. Hasegawa said she had no regrets and leaves happy.

The next event is TJPW LIVE in Houston, the start of their next US tour, Thursday at USA Post in Houston, TX. Our beloved former ring announcer Sayuri Namba, who just relocated from Japan to Canada (and has started a YouTube channel documenting her journey via daily shorts), will return as the ring announcer for these events. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM PT/7:30 PM ET but they are calling it a “Trial” with no guarantee of the entire broadcast happening live due to on-site equipment.
